Dear gamers, which layout do you prefer when playing with a controller? Xbox or PlayStation?
@WorkaholicDavid A lot.
Folds are brand's highest priced phones, so I need special treatment from brand.
☑️Needs 2 years brand warranty
☑️2 times free screen replacement
☑️Box needs to have a case, Buds, Charger
@pixelpanics@lakshyalark The joke was self-deprecating—I was roasting my own brain. But since you were too distracted to actually read before getting offended, I guess you’ve got that fruit fly attention span too. Welcome to the club 🪰
@TouchlineX Always mentioning his teammates meanwhile homelander tried getting all the credit for qualifying Portugal to the World Cup without even playing 🤣🤣
• Reporter: "You've become the first player in MLS history to win the MVP award for two years in a row. What does that mean to you?"
🚨🗣️ Leo Messi: "Well, first of all, I'm extremely grateful for this recognition. It's always nice to receive individual awards."
"But of course, I want to share this award with my teammates, because I also won the Golden Boot award, and that's thanks to all of their help."
"I'm so happy to have received this award, and to be the first in the history of MLS to win it two years in a row, and I'm extremely grateful for that."
This phone has just been largely disappointing for me after about a week's ownership.
Here are the pros:
✅ Nice screen
✅ Nice haptics
✅ Good-looking UI animations
✅ Battery life
✅ Portrait mode produces clear bright pictures.
Here are the cons:
⛔ Lens quality is absolutely horrible. blooming occurs at anything past 6x. Focus hunting happens frequently. White balance is off - Green-ish tint is often added to pictures by default.
⛔ Either lens or algorithm, anything above 6x falls in quality dramatically as you zoom further. Either use AI to fakely produce details or get an oil painting. Your choice.
⛔ On Master mode, if you adjust the custom settings, what the view finder shows and what you get as a result is still kinda off. So it takes multiple tries to get what you really want. So good luck if the moment you wanna capture is short.
⛔ Animations are sometimes too slow. Even if I enabled "Enhanced" animations, opening folders feels delayed.
⛔ CPU/GPU performance is terribly optimized. Where Winds Meet (CN) drops to less than 20fps upon arriving at some more complex scenes. Doesn't happen to snapdragon, though. Even so, less than 20fps is unacceptable. At least keep yourself above 30 fps right? Also, heats up just as much as Snapdragon. (Btw can content creators stop testing phones on Genshin and actually test phones on games with proper 2025 AAA level graphics? Stop misleading people ffs)
⛔ No rear screen. No high quality, controlled rear selfies, no rear screen phone controls, nothing. Just plain old phone. No innovation at all.
⛔ Thickness (minor gripe) although the phone is only 0.25mm thicker, it feels like a completely different thickness on hand, especially when typing and pulling out of your pocket.
💲Adding money to the mix, however, relieves some of the disappointment because I only had to pay US$820 for it - basically a top level mid-range, non-flagship phone.
In conclusion: mid-price, mid-phone.
And now I pass this phone to my dad who wants to use a global phone instead of a CN phone. Hope he's okay with it.
I honestly can’t take anyone seriously who underestimates how capable Chinese phones actually are.
Worst part is he said it’s hard to recommend them over a Pixel… LMAO how stupid
@Sumitnaraniya@maciej_murawski But yeah, we likely don't have this data because brands guard it. So maybe we as consumers must build demand! We need independent organizations to audit and provide public metrics so we can judge quality objectively, not just based on who advertises the most
@Sumitnaraniya@maciej_murawski My issue is the basis. Claiming one brand is safer than another based only on reputation is weak. It is easily swayed by marketing and narrative, not facts. Until you provide quantifiable data (like theft rates/patch speed), you're just reinforcing the status quo of brand loyalty
@Sumitnaraniya@maciej_murawski Then how do you measure that Oppo is less secure from bank credential and private pic theft than Samsung or Apple? You claim people choose them instead because of this. Is your claim based on verifiable security audit data, or simply brand perception?
@ferly_dimas@maciej_murawski Big question.. not going to discuss about data selling, but grossly saving your banking credentials and private pics, if are free from unwarranted theft, then it can be safe..
@maciej_murawski Great cameras and good battery life are here, but safety and privacy and most importantly consistent performance are equally concerning aspects, that's why people, at the end of the day, choose iphone & Samsung over these.
vivo X300 Pro's ultra-thin symmetrical bezels, next to the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
After years of using curved displays, they have finally switched to a flat screen.
@sondesix Huge agree but i feel like ui is a bit lacking in customization and some features. Also my matepad pro 12.2 2024 only play netflix at 720p for some reason. Other than that it is smooth and snappy. And i wish other brand use that matte display cause i love it
Honestly, I'm not really a tablet person... But aside from iPad, tablets that I would comfortably use are actually the ones from Huawei.
I know, you might consider Samsung's ecosystem as superior, but I found Samsung tablets' UI to be not that intuitive unless I use the DeX mode.
HarmonyOS is truly awesome on tablets. It works really well on the MatePad Pro 12.2", pictured below.
(And Huawei's keyboard is just so good, it also has that little compartment to store the M Pencil stylus)
