Just got that call you never want to get. My amazing Dad was just admitted into the hospital in Charlottetown. His doctor is only giving him a couple of days to live, so on our way to #PEI to say goodbye. He has fought AML so hard over these past 6 months after a sudden diagnosis that turned our lives around. He was so healthy, in his 70s and working out daily. We've had many good weeks over these past couple of chemo months that we thought he might have more time, but clearly cancer has other plans 😢.

Back in Melbourne. It was 2 degrees when I left the airport this morning. Which was a welcome shock after a few hot days in Tokyo.

@fernandogros It's funny, isn't it? Saving pdf version of materials is a good idea, but one day the support of the preferred storage option might stop or physical gadget turned obsolete so we might need to print them which is circling back to how we were before techology shoot up. 🫢

If you have published work online then please make sure you have PDF versions of your work saved for future reference. Don't rely on publications and websites staying up forever. Or wayback machine or other archives. Archive your work.
