@ChemistDruggist @ComPharmEngland And some have got rid of practice emails, so what are we supposed to do? This is getting ridiculous. We’re all supposed to be working together and it should be easier not harder. Break down barriers not put them up

@Pharmacist_News @the_pda But pharmacists don't do this, their staff ask the necessary questions and the patient declares they have an exemption and we don't have to see it.

'Pharmacists in England would rather be focussed on providing care than having to check millions of certificates and undertake the other admin involved with the collection of what many call a “tax on health”,’ said Alison Jones @the_PDA. buff.ly/3RJoJct

@REENABARAI @ComPharmEngland @NPA1921 @nkpharmacy @PaulReesMBE We have ( just) got over the threshold. I was worried when I saw stats that only 30% got it in Feb and brought it up at LPC. It needs addressing urgently before another increase. If you’re struggling then I can only imagine that there are huge numbers out there that don’t meet it

Ludicrous scenario today where I’m at 9 consultations this month and with only 1.5 working days to go till the end of the month,I’m desperately trying to meet the minimum required for the monthly fixed payment. This isn’t fair & needs addressing urgently @ComPharmEngland @NPA1921

@ChemistDruggist Does he think we are stupid? We know how much we are all struggling and how bad things are now they have been in Government for 14 years.

@GrahamStretch @ChemistDruggist @BootsUK @TheGPhC @CareQualityComm Totally agree. ‘Online ‘ prescribing is a real issue and it’s not just private providers. Many GP surgeries write acute Rx from just an online consult. I know many who have done just that. One for doxy (for rosacea )who put online request - Rx doxycycline 100mg x8 . No questions

@ChemistDruggist @BootsUK It’s not Illicite if @BootsUK prescribed it. Without the proper safeguards and some basic obs it has very clearly led to significant harm in this case however. On-line Questionaire based assessments & supply without basic obs being done needs to stop @TheGPhC @CareQualityComm

@ChemistDruggist Their policies have caused a complete crisis in CP. Unless their donors or friends are getting money it won’t happen. Pie in the sky

Rishi just increased Pharmacy First spending by 1150%. Labour plans to improve business rates.. Our election tracker is keeping an eye on the pharmacy vote- and if all the 'don't knows' shifted to Conservative, it would be neck and neck... chemistanddruggist.co.uk/CD138252/CD-el…

@Parody_PM Yet he has been a part of the Government that has overseen unprecedented cuts in pharmacy funding and closures of pharmacies. This was a deliberate policy. It means nothing to him

Starmer cannot say how he would resolve the strikes, because he simply does not know. Once again, Labour have absolutely no plan. #ITVDebate

@thesupersach @EMISHealth @ChemistDruggist @NPA1921 @ComPharmEngland I thought we were all supposed to have our own user accounts? I’m sure I saw something yesterday about that being necessary as well. All my pharmacists have their own login. Admin can have them added , it gets set up quickly. You go to admin and add them I think

@GrahamStretch @CPMedicalClinic @TheGPhC @MHRAgovuk Given by GPs who, presumably take clinical responsibility. However, I imagine the premises would need to be registered with CQC. Not sure about the IV vits, though, and any regulation of IV admin of a non-drug

@DrNeenaJha This happens at surgeries anyway. It is receptionist that decides who sees GP. It’s not a GP making appointments and deciding who needs them. Unsure how this is different?

**GP hubs will only have ONE GP** ALL other staff managing patients will be NON-doctors. The “Care coordinator” triaging will NOT be a doctor & will decide who sees you (likely NON-doctor) It’s here, it’s been enforced & it’s happening from NEXT MONTH! 🚨 SOS NHS 🚨

Randomly 2 people asked today if their NHS Rx ( electronic) could be done privately as it would be cheaper 🙈Why is this all of a sudden? Just to clarify we said no!
