@louishuglin@mintisculture@EvertonHeritage All great players but only Southall would actually deserve a statue from that list! Pickford might earn one in the future but none of the others get close.
If two statues are to be unveiled at our new stadium, which players make the grade - and who’s earned the honour of being immortalised for future generations of Evertonians?
Name your two definitive Everton icons, legends, cult heroes…

@Johnbuznew@jmacca260@danholling Iraola has a 36% win ratio with Bournemouth. Moyes is at 41% for this stint and was at 42% in his first. Is there really enough of a flash?
@Paul17995136@Everton Sliding doors moment: Arsenal choose Ancelotti and so Arteta joins Everton as manager in December 2019. What would have happened at each club since? I think Arteta would still be with us and we’d never have made the mistakes that caused us to overspend and fight relegation.
@ferninho@Everton As a manager he’s a bit like marmite, you either like him or hate him.
He wouldn’t come to us unless we were in the CL. I don’t like his style or his attitude but like I said earlier, he was a great player for us.
@Paul17995136@Everton I like him personally. He’s very defensive of his players and he brings the attention onto himself when things are not going well and takes the pressure off his players, rather than throwing them under the bus. He learnt that from Moyes and then Wenger.
@mikeyjb_@alexrigby91@Everton Exactly mate. We sold him after he’d dropped to the bench for Rodwell and his knee was shot. The player that went to Arsenal was a fraction of the player we enjoyed. They never saw Arteta’s fast feet and going past people. He was just a crab when he joined them.
@JeffWallner@F0reverEvert0n Whenever I’ve seen Anzou he’s looked dreadful defensively. He makes Paterson look competent. But Paterson has been held back, although injuries haven’t helped, and it looks like he’s improved defensively. In the past Young players had to bide their time in reserves. So why not?
@F0reverEvert0n We don't see training. It's possible Aznou isn't doing what he needs to do on and off the training ground to earn minutes. That's usually what it boils down to. Easy to assume he's a better option. How do we know? Moyes has seen him far more often than us.
@cfcAds@AndrewVernon4@5liveSport Yeah congrats for doing the right thing, but you should still receive a punishment and your crime was far worse than Everton’s or forests and you are getting away with it.
@AndrewVernon4@5liveSport Current ownership don’t bump off the neighbour next door. In fact the premier league wouldn’t have ever even known about this had they not self reported.
And I blimming hate this ownership but they did the right thing
😱 "All of these rules are meaningless!"
👀 Have Chelsea got off lightly after being found to have paid £47.5 million to unlicensed agents to sign key players like Eden Hazard?

@paultur58616633@RC021878@adamsg1878 Calvert Lewin picked up an injury in a couple of games before then. He’s fit and firing on all cylinders now that Dyche isn’t his manager and rushing him back for every game and never letting get over his injuries.
Clive Tyldesley reports on Coventry City vs Derby County in March 1988, with a pitch that you wouldn’t get close to playing on these days.
No postponement. Same for both teams. Get on with the game.
@MimiRedfoot@RupertLowe10 We never lost the right to have guns. We never had the right. And there’s no heathen hoards invading our country. You should get your facts checked.
@RupertLowe10 This is ridiculous.
Britons should never have lost their GUNS.
RESTORE their God given right to defend themselves against the heathen hoards invading their country and problem solved.
Another day, another stabbing. We need to GET REAL - I am sick of it, we are all sick of it. This is not the Britain I want to live in.
The British state needs to brutally crack down on knife crime, and I mean brutally. That is exactly what Restore Britain would do. No more bullshit community work or soft punishment.
Enough is enough.
Instant deportation for foreign nationals found carrying.
Throw the book at the domestic ones.
Found unlawfully carrying? A Restore Britain Government would crack down on you in the harshest possible manner.
Minimum prison sentences - zero excuses.
The message has to be simple.
DO NOT CARRY A KNIFE UNLAWFULLY.
If you are found with a machete or whatever else, you will go to prison. End of story. Stop and search introduced on a proper scale. Accusations of racism would not stop us, I can promise you that.
Do that, on the scale required, and watch how quickly the knife crime epidemic stops.
There is finally a political party with the balls to do what needs to be done to protect the British people.
Restore Britain.
@BobEvertonian@Themiller999 We just need to establish ourselves as an upper mid table side whilst building the squad. This takes time. Newcastle have all the money in the world and they are below us and cannot achieve consistency. Let’s walk before we run.
@ferninho@Themiller999 That’s fair. But Moyes’ contract runs out in 2027, so decisions will need to be made before then if he’s gonna be the guy to take a project further than what we’ve seen so far
All the Moyes out brigade need to give their heads a wobble.
That was some performance.
I'm embarrassed sometimes as to how our own fans behave.
Very very short memories....

@BobEvertonian@Themiller999 Come on fella. I’m a Martinez and Silva guy. Everton have been broken since Lampard. Dyche did well to keep us up and I was disappointed we got Moyes, but somehow he’s got us 8th. Moyes will build a squad a project manager can use when he calls it a day in a few years time.
@Themiller999 Looking like it’s not been smartly used, and he had the say on the transfers. But I get why fans like him. I have nothing wrong with people who do. I’d just like to see someone who’s more of a project manager
The way Dibling has been treated since coming to the club it nothing short of disgusting, you wouldn’t treat a dog the way he’s been treated, i genuinely for the sake of himself hope he’s ok and wouldn’t blame him if he wanted out. A good manager gets the best out of him for sure
