@Sexyscientist No I haven’t. I am at a loss for what to do. They sent me the new terms in March (in spam email) which do state that the BNPL plans won’t be able to be paid off separately, but I’d already purchased them prior to this so it just feels wrong. Not sure how they can get away with it

@fernnnbxo I’m in the same position, I’m curious if you’ve had this resolved or raised an official complaint? I recall reading existing buy now pay later plans wouldn’t be impacted.

@Argos_Online @ArgosHelpers @MartinSLewis @TheFCA The new Argos Pay app is prohibiting people from selecting which payment plan they’re making payments to, meaning all buy now pay later plans will eventually be turned into normal credit with interest applied. Is this legal?

@lyndz_20 I was very sad to see how little there was about Tony, but from what we did learn he sounded like a really kind, great man. I know they were taking the angle of her relationship with him, but the whole thing felt very disrespectful to me 😔

I feel like it should be illegal to change the terms of your credit agreement once you’ve already entered into it, especially when it leads you to paying more money you didn’t originally agree to paying

@JackoHawkins @argosonline I was managing my account perfectly fine paying off my normal credit and my BNPL plans. I don’t understand why they have done this. I wonder if @TheFCA can help.

@JackoHawkins @argosonline Surely this is illegal? If we bought something knowing we could pay it off in 6 months and not be charged interest, and they’re not allowing us to do it anymore therefore forcing us to pay interest?! I have normal credit & bnpl plans so mine will auto pay the normal credit first

@ArgosOnline this isn’t good enough. I’ve got a BNPL plan ending end of this month how am I supposed to pay it off before I’m charged interest if I can’t choose the plan? This really has ruined Argos.

The amount of scam accounts replying as Argos customer service is worrying. Be careful folks.

I have something due to be paid off next month with £30 left and now I can’t pay that directly anymore. Absolute joke that they’ve essentially forced/tricked people into now paying interest on everything. That’s not what I signed up to.

Using the old app, I was able to make payments directly to each plan. It meant I could pay off “normal credit” whilst making payments to plans to pay them off before interest was added. Now I don’t have a choice. It’ll pay off my normal credit and let the BNPL plans add interest

@Argos_Online @ArgosHelpers Any advice on how to actually get my ORN? Tried to request it numerous times but not getting an email. Phone line keeps saying it’s “at capacity” so I can’t get through. Any advice would be appreciated 🤦🏻‍♀️

I am honestly more disappointed that we never got a satisfying conclusion to the Oliver story than anything to do with Stephen. I wanted to see Oliver in prison at the very least! 🥲 #TellMeLies

@fernnnbxo Hes better off without his mother. The police may not have had enough evidence, but she was as guilty as her dad.

That little boy lost his dad and his grandfather, his other grandfather was put in prison then his mam and stepdad moved to america anyway, presumably with his sibling?! That poor child. I have never been so saddened by an episode ☹️ #24hoursinpolicecustody
