I am not surprised by the level of anger and frustration Kenyans feel toward this administration. The uncertainty surrounding the management of key sectors such as energy, security, education, and healthcare is deeply concerning. Instead of pursuing long-term solutions, what we continue to witness is endless running in circles, while the ordinary Kenyan bears the burden. This is not how to manage a country, my fellow Kenyans. Over the past four years, we have witnessed some of the highest levels of mismanagement, and as a nation, we deserve far better.

The growing insecurity in our country has once again been exposed by the cold-blooded and heinous murder of a clergyman within a church compound, something that should never happen in any responsible security environment. I am deeply saddened by the tragic and senseless loss of Rev. Julius Ndumia of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) Tabuga Church in Bahati, Nakuru County, who was found murdered in his home within the church compound yesterday morning. This barbaric act is not only an attack on a devoted servant of God, but also on the values of peace, dignity, and the sanctity of life that bind us as a nation. This must not be treated as a political matter. I urge our security agencies to treat this case and the wider wave of insecurity across the country with the seriousness it demands. Our leaders must rise to the occasion, and together, we must fix the growing threat to safety that continues to endanger our communities. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, the PCEA fraternity, and the entire Tabuga community during this painful time. May his soul rest until the resurrection morning.
