@ffabinhoo

Low-IQ people respond to generalizations with ‘but that’s not always true.’

“The easiest and quickest way to test someone's intelligence is to make a generalized statement about a group. Say something like … and if their first response is an exception or counter-example, they probably aren’t very smart.”

We've had to convert two of our investment properties into NDIS housing. Better returns and the government guarantees the rent. Had to ask the tenants to leave unfortunately. Lovely young couple, just had a baby, but this is a business not a charity. Wendy felt terrible about it, she sent them a Bunnings gift card 🇦🇺

The median Australian earns between 80-90k a year, Someone tell me how they’re suppose to afford a home, an electric car and installation equipment required? Not including all the other bills they have to pay. Just one logical answer would be nice.

@realRick_AUS An example...a 3 bedroom house in North Bendigo is set for auction in May has an indicative price of $480k to $500k. Bendigo has 617 jobs up for grabs (Seek) if you want to work locally...plus the ability to commute to Melbourne. It is a legitimate option.

Nobody gave us a 5% deposit scheme. We saved every cent ourselves while raising three children, paying off the mortgage, and managing our investment properties entirely on our own. The pool maintenance alone costs us $400 a month. We're not complaining. We just get on with it. That's what our generation did.

48,000 non citizens purchased houses using the 5% deposit scheme. I just don’t know what to say anymore. #auspol

Average first home buyer age in Australia today is around 36-37 For a lot of them, they would also be tied down with kids, the costs that comes with that and school fees etc If they are getting into the market with a 10-20% deposit If prices fall 30% or more from the current highly inflated levels Can they realistically recover from this? Or will they be negative equity debt slaves for a large portion of their remaining working life ?? It strikes me as a fairly grim setup

The great print begins. The Australian government will soon be printing atrocious amounts of money. This is how it starts. Supporting critical businesses, then small and medium sized businesses, then entire distressed market segments. People see interest rates going up and say “this means the Australian dollar will rise!!” WRONG in a balanced economy yes. But not now. It’s completely missing the point that high rates are driven through long term inflation expectations and free markets DEMANDING higher REAL yields. Completely missing the point that high interest rates proceed to CRUSH the local economy by strangling loans that fuel private industries. The result being government intervention on every level, from supporting small businesses, to market segments, to stepping in to prop up the entire short term Australian bond market And thus CRUSHING the Australian dollar to historical lows. And Australian house prices? You’ll hear a lot about what I have to say about those soon.

JUST IN: Australia will provide up to A$1 billion in interest-free loans to critical businesses due to the energy shock.
