Back in 2022, I launched a small “img-to-music” @gradio demo on @huggingface Spaces.
Upload an image → get a musical interpretation of it.
It wasn’t perfect, but the community reaction had that real “wow, wait… we can do that?” energy.
May 2026, I still think about that moment.
Before everything became polished AI products, there was this raw momentum: demos, Spaces, playful prototypes, and people exploring new modalities together.
That was a special time.

@fffiloni @Gradio @huggingface I remember Riffusion, finetuning stable diffusion to produce mel-spectrograms for music generation, because ... why not.
And it ended up working soo well at the time
