Creo que nuevamente, y ya no es una sorpresa, pasamos de la euforia y prepotencia de los discursos políticos a la triste y dura realidad. El último discurso de Netanyahu parece evidenciar que las cosas no son como pensaban y ahora nos someterán a nuevos discursos diarios para explicarnos por qué las cosas no van bien. Esto me recuerda mucho a aquella definición de Winston Churchill en la que definía a un analista político como "aquel que nos dice que va a ocurrir mañana para pasado mañana explicarnos por qué no ha ocurrido". En el fondo de todas estas cuestiones, en lo relativo a emergencias, operaciones militares, operaciones de inteligencia y muchas otras cuestiones, subyace un problema que se repite continuamente, la prepotencia y falta de atención de los políticos, poniendo por encima de la propia realidad sus intereses del momento, aquella tan cacareada frase de "no es el momento político adecuado", como si la realidad obedeciera a los momentos políticos. Ahora a sufrir todos las consecuencias de uno o varios errores de cálculo.
