@ffs_nonamesleft No, I get that. Especially with linear style games, it can feel discouraging to find your playthrough experience wasn't quite complete. It's the same in this case - I'm just hoping there's folks who don't mind or will grab the discount and wait to play once it's finished.

If I release a discounted pre-order work-in-progress version of Of Love on itch, what would be your thoughts? The idea is that once the game is finished, this version would become the full version and those who purchased would already own the game.

@acornbringer As an example, i finished hollowbody and loved it, bugs and all. Then a week later it was updated with more mid game content. I was sort of bummed, as i didn’t want to restart a week after. I got my ending. But, i’m a sample size of one.

@ffs_nonamesleft Yup, it will be fully playable up to the point where I'm working. And I agree. Especially a game that sets out to be more immersive - seeing the not so beautiful side could be disenchanting.

@DamianRanger1 @BasicAppleGuy Wasn’t a scam damian. People actually got scared and fixed the critical machines. Normal people’s worst experience would be a wrong date if the system was affected. If you were an accountant it wasn’t nice, but still.

@FernandoTittz People are used with game releases. People are not used to see just a cigarette mesh. At least that’s my take. I do love to see how ppl did things.

I do not understand social media algorithm at all but this kinda sucks, few days ago I posted a cigarette mesh and that got a huge visibility. Today I posted an announcement about my game that just released on consoles and got pretty much no visibility What am I doing wrong lol?

I used to play a lot of "Fifa World Cup 2002" with friends when we were kids. You could score a goal like this and the only way to defend from it was getting kicked in the face. 10/10
