Nigeria will never run out of talented founders. Our job at SuperteamNG is to discover these people early, build a strong talent pipeline around them, create an environment where they can succeed, and continue supporting them as they scale. If we could do it for teams like NectarFi, Evolution, Ribh, etc, then we can absolutely do it again for the next set of founders coming up. What excites me most about this batch of winners is that they’re building directly on the current meta; prediction markets, AI agents, and stablecoins. Throughout the hackathon and during the local demo day, we also discovered a handful of really solid products that we’ll continue supporting with GTM, grants, technical guidance, ecosystem connections, distribution, and visibility. One thing we’ve learned over the years is that sometimes the biggest winners aren’t always obvious immediately after a hackathon. A lot of great products just need the right environment, early support, and enough time to compound. And that’s what we do best. Congrats again to the winners!
