The @GWR record survives another round of the @LondonMarathon! Congrats to all those who got themselves a world record yesterday, especially Kate Carter, the fastest animal on two legs in aid of @wwf_uk - go #TeamPanda!

I’m pleased to say I did it! I now hold the official Guinness World Record for the fastest marathon dressed as a shoe (male) with a time of 3:35:19 👟😀 Thank you to everyone for your all your support, I have also passed my Endeavour fundraising target of £2500 ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has supported with my @Endeavour_1955 fundraising so far. I'm pleased to say I completed my first challenge, finishing the @Marathon_Mcr in a new personal best time of 03:17:50. No time to rest, I have the @LondonMarathon to finish in under 3 weeks!

Sir John Kingman, Chair of @UKRI_News, visited our Laboratory for Verification & Validation (LVV) this week, as he met @sheffielduni leaders to discuss future investments in R&D & driving collaboration with #industry @SheffMechEng @ICAIR_UK @SheffUniEng @CivilSheffield @TheAMRC

The comms and marketing team @TheAMRC and @AMRCtraining Centre had a whistlestop tour of the @sheffielduni Laboratory for Verification and Validation. Lots of cool kit in there for #dynamics #climatics and #shaker testing. It was great to meet our #Factory2050 neighbours!
