Congratulations to @GamecockWBB and Coach @dawnstaley for winning the National Championship. U have made this Gamecock extremely happy. I will not miss another one. Keep being great y’all in sports but more importantly in life!!

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssss!!!! Yes yes yes yes yes yes!!!! @GamecockWBB and @dawnstaley Natty. Friggin Natty!!!

@kbjunior11 @PhysicsHawk I agree that he wasn't just trying to prove a silly thing, he really believed in his studies and put a lot of work into it
English

@PhysicsHawk By sheer number of attempts, it makes it more verifiable, but I also believe the dedication it took to do this also makes it better as well. Feynman didn't feel it was necessary to make crazy claims like the other guy did, but he did seek to find out the answer.

Q3-Feynman’s experiment on time was also quite strange and, while it would NEVER qualify as a publishable science experiment, it is better than the one that got published by the psychologist. What makes Feynman’s method better? #feynmanchat1920
English

@PhysicsHawk By absorbing as much knowledge as you can in school and getting the fundamental building blocks of each subject, throughout your life you will be able to keep adding onto what you already know #feynmanchat1920
English

Q5-A inference I drew from Feynman’s conclusion to this story is that each person must build their learning on what they already have in their brains. What could you do to increase the number of things in your brain that you can build on? #feynmanchat1920
English

@PhysicsHawk Everyones way of thinking and how their brain processes information is different. Some people can be easily distracted by seeing a blue sky while others could be by a thunderstorm. #feynmanchat1920

Q4-What does the difference in Feynman’s ability to read but not talk while counting and his friend's ability to talk but not read reveal about what interferes with our attention? #feynmanchat1920
English

@PhysicsHawk Feynman may not have the best experiment but he does know how to perform experiments and have analytical calculations that can mathematically prove him somewhat right compared to just the notes of the psychologist #feynmanchat1920
English

@PhysicsHawk There are way too many out of place and unaccounted for variables here. She is probably running a very high temp. and in no way is in the right headspace to perform such an experiment #feynmanchat1920
English

Q2-Feynman describes a “scientific” experiment that a man did when his wife had a fever and used it to conclude their our sense of time is based on iron reacting in the brain. From a scientific standpoint, what is wrong with his methodology #feynmanchat1920

@GrieciNathaniel @PhysicsHawk I never really understood how hard and particulate running was until one of my friends took my on a run
English

@PhysicsHawk If you haven't noticed, Cade and I "debate" a-lot. And even though I win 99.9% of the time, he did change my mind on running especially when it comes to its difficulty. He showed me that it is an incredibly difficult sport and one that many people overlook. #feynmanchat1920

Q1-Feynman's friend Bernie teaches him that thoughts can be visual when he had once only thought of them as verbal. Give an example of a time when your thinking was changed by a friend. #feynmanchat1920

@PhysicsHawk A long time ago I used to only put cheese on my burgers. But then I went over to my friend holts house were I was served an all American burger. And that finally should me the way of how burgers are supposed to taste #feynmanchat1920
English

@PhysicsHawk When I was getting my drivers permit I was memorizing all this information about the laws of the road and the certain penalties I’ll get if I fail to abide by the law. I couldn’t tell you most of anything I learned but I’m still on the roads #feynmanchat1920
English

Q4-In school, we often learn definitions without actually understanding concepts. Given an example of when you have experienced this. #feynmanchat1920
English

@PhysicsHawk When I am evaluating stocks and how they are performing there is definitely a mystery factor involved. You have to try and find patterns of stocks and to try and predict the future basically #feynmanchat1920
English

Q3-Feynman uses pi to talk about the influence of mystery on his scientific thinking. How have you seen that in your life, in science or any other subject? #feynmanchat1920
