Your company is at the stage it is. Don't be ashamed if you don't have the resources others have. Look for staff that are drawn to your specific challenges. Be honest. Don't dress things up or overpromise. And don't apologize for insisting on performance. Focus on chemistry and mission alignment. If someone is not heading in the same direction as your company, it's okay to part ways. Don't be sad about it. #DearCEO #WakingThoughts

@weeliftnaija There are many concepts we need to be aware of. GBV is not affecting only women and girls, even in Nigeria, men and boys face GBV (the proportion may be low but we should not be ignored). As the topic, the route to preventing GBV starts from the cradle and not just in adulthood

When Women Thrive, Violence Ends This #16DaysOfActivism, let’s talk about how economic empowerment changes lives. When women have access to education, jobs, and support, they gain the strength to leave harmful situations and live with dignity.

THIS!!! Even if it is not a direct tax, they can indirectly be compelled to provide services to their members, like education and healthcare. They can't have the tax benefit of charities and do minimal charity. Private jets and large buildings aren't charity.

So basically, most Nigerians pay more tithes than tax. That's a problem. Churches need to be taxed in Nigeria. They are businesses.
