For instance "And Worms Have Eaten Them" by Marten Cumberland wasn't published until 1947. There's a Roland Vane "Silken Sin" but not until 1953, the James M. Cain "For Men Only" wasn't until 1944. "Hell's Belles", "Love Ethics" and "Mr. Drayton Darling" I can't find at all.

Any ideas about what these books can be? This is from a mid-1942 prosecution, and I either can't find a corresponding title published at that time or can't trace the book at all. 1/3 @PulpLibrarian @pulpcurry
