I am very puzzled by this. I personally am at very high risk of pneumonia and lung infections. I have been hospitalized with pneumonia several times over the last 15 years. I just can’t fathom how somebody with his resources wouldn’t have been diagnosed or treated for this sooner

@jeff_gluck They’re definitely should’ve been a separate open from the All-Star race. The cars that were locked in should not have a chance to get wrecked out before the race starts. And stop calling it All-Star race. go back to when they used to call it the Winston or whoever sponsors it

Maybe it's still premature to say this, but I do miss the Open. And the point of this format was so all fans could see their favorite drivers all day, except three of many people's favorite drivers got wrecked on Lap 2.

I’m too old school for whatever this All-Star race has turned into. Heat races, fan votes, cautions, stages, invert this, transfer that, average this 🤯feels like you need a damn calculator to follow along . Just put em on the damn track and let em race.

Stop calling it and All-Star race. Go back to the previous format when they just called it the Winston. It’s been nothing but a cluster fuck since they started screwing with it after that.

If you're confused as to how this All-Star Race format is going to work, here's the easiest explanation I can give: A) Qualifying order set with a combined full-lap, pit road sequence on Saturday B) The first 75-lap segment featuring all drivers C) Another 75-lap segment with the top 26 inverted from the previous segment, while drivers 27+ remain static D) The field is set for the final 200-lap segment featuring 17 drivers with guaranteed spots, 8 more spots set by the lowest average finish of the combined segments, and the final spot given to the fan vote. Key things to remember: -No All-Star Open -Everyone races on Sunday -Sunday activities start at 1:00 PM
