@TonyAshai Oil dependency does not limit to only vehicles. only 20-30 % crude oil goes as petrol/ Diseal. Rest goes as byproducts such as jetfuel, LPG ,kersene, heavy fuel and lot industrial products such as petrochemical feed stocks, asphalt, bitumen ,grease etc.

It exposes a strange loophole in India’s Anti-Defection Law & Kanduva politics • Danam Nagender elected Khairatabad MLA on a BRS ticket in 2023 and Contested the 2024 Lok Sabha election as a Congress candidate Schedule X disqualifies legislators if they quit the party or violate the whip inside the House. He did neither. But the law never clearly says that contesting an election for another party equals defection. There’s another complication. The Assembly Speaker’s jurisdiction is mainly over conduct connected to the legislature. So if the act happens outside the House, like contesting a parliamentary election, it falls into a legal grey zone. This exposes a serious grey area in the Tenth Schedule. Also, The petition also cited photographs of Danam wearing a Congress kanduva during a “joining” ceremony as proof that he switched parties. But Danam argued the scarf was just a tri-colour kanduva without the Congress “Hand” symbol, and similar scarves are often worn even by leaders of other parties. In his evidence he submitted Harish Rao & Padi Kaushik wearing tri color kanduva. It’s a very common Kanduva worn in telugu speaking states. Looks like politicians need to be careful on what they wear. * I don’t know if the 👇 photo of Harish Rao was submitted as evidence by Danam but I found this on his Facebook page when he attended Sri Rama Navami in 2025.
