Today on the 11th May 2026, the Minister of Agriculture Hon @T_Ndabamenye received in his office @vunifaustin1 the Coordinator of Rwanda Climate Change and Development Network @RccdnRwanda with whom they discussed ways of promoting Regenerative Agriculture and Productive Use of Renewable Energy for enhancing food production and productivity, increasing household income as well as creating green jobs. They also discussed on agroecology, conservation agriculture as well as other sustainable agriculture practices. They agreed on practical actions that would jointly be worked on for the benefit of the most vulnerable smallholder farmers including enhancing their level of participation and ownership. #RA_PURE #P4FP

Discussions are underscoring the need to accelerate job creation, enhance labour productivity, and support key sectors such as agriculture, industry, and services, while advancing digital transformation and improving service delivery to ensure inclusive and sustainable growth. Au #Rwanda, les délégations participantes à la #CMF46 ont visité les coopératives Iwacuheza et Intashyikirwa, bénéficiaires du projet « Appui à l’autonomisation économique des femmes à travers les coopératives ». Soutenu par le Fonds #LaFrancophonieAvecElles, ce projet a permis de créer huit coopératives gérées par des femmes et d’accompagner 190 d’entre elles, dont la majorité sont désormais financièrement autonomes grâce aux activités génératrices de revenus développées. #Francophonie

À #Madagascar, le projet « Méca Mama », soutenu par le Fonds #LaFrancophonieAvecElles, accompagne des jeunes mères en difficulté vers les métiers de la mécanique automobile, un secteur où les femmes restent encore peu représentées.
