What is the point of #PMQs? Starmer does not even engage with the questions, let alone attempt to answer them. He appointed Mandelson knowing he had remained friends with Epstein. He didn’t even bother to as Mandelson about it. Starmer never takes responsibility.

Friends! It’s #StPatricksDay and so I’m feeling the luck of the Irish today. Maybe I’ll have a pint of Guinness to celebrate! Mum is off out very early to take the Teenage One out. She’s being filmed in a dance video today! So this morning has to be a quick post. Good luck Teenage One 🍀

The removal of Churchill from our banknotes is presented as the kind of trivial change that only racists get worked up about. It is an old trick: you take away something that people like, and then accuse them of starting a culture war when they complain. In fact, what our money looks like is far from a trivial issue. When Jesus drew the border between spiritual and temporal authority, he did so by pointing to Caesar’s face on a coin and asking the Pharisees: “Whose is this image and superscription?” There was no more resounding symbol of state power than the coinage. The Green Party has managed to ride a complete imbecile into Parliament—on the back of clan voting and moral bankruptcy. For those of us who can remember when the country wasn’t insane, the sight of a Rod, Jane and Freddy understudy is actually quite distressing. But the overriding feeling is one of embarrassment. Maybe it’s because I’ve had a long day. Maybe it’s because I’m facing the prospect of the same tomorrow. I don’t know. But I have zero confidence in this country having any kind of meaningful future. Why? Because in the past, the whole population would have jeered and howled at tit-Fiddler Dave and his Islamo-fascist freak show. Now people march for Palestine, call for sharia law, and moronically intone that trans women are women. Gimme a time machine. Please.

@TheGriftReport @Miss_Snuffy You do know that there are hundreds of other Headteachers all around the country doing amazing things with their schools every single day, don't you? It's just that they don't spend half their time promoting themselves.

Personally, I think @Miss_Snuffy should be in charge of our education system. She has earned the title "Britain's strictest headmistress", and what she has done in her school should be admired, studied and emulated across the country. She has conservative values, and we need these instilled in schools instead of the Marxist indoctrination we currently have. We have huge problems in our education system, and whoever forms the next government should call her to ask for advice.

@ImogenPigeon @WATCH_ACT You seem very angry and bitter. I’m sorry about that but I think WATCH is a great group and have clearly done a lot for women’s ministry. You might not like them but you can’t just dismiss their work and efforts on behalf of women priests.

@fionalstuart @WATCH_ACT It is not at all because of them we have womens ministry. Their not that influential; their not representative of the VAST majority of the C of E for either position, they do not adhear to the 5 principles of mutual flourishing and therefore can't represent most.

Women and the Church@WATCH_ACT·
Please stop telling women we have to be nice and to stop being angry about the harm misogyny causes. It’s hard for the church to speak about the suffering of women in our world simply for being women and our lives valued less - when we are institutionally sexist ourselves.
Tim Howles@AimeTim

@WATCH_ACT I believe and support strongly the ordination of women, but this comment is really mean and quite vicious. Indirectly yes, but a comparison of the exegetical teaching of ASLP to Hitler is insidious. The tone of this account is really undermining the cause you are promoting.

@ImogenPigeon @WATCH_ACT There’s nothing sneaky about WATCH! They’ve worked hard for decades to advance the position of women in the church, in the face of dreadful prejudice, mostly from men - you’ve failed to comment on that. It’s because of them & others that we’re now blessed with women’s ministry

@fionalstuart @WATCH_ACT I'll leave this here. I don't think anyone is going to change their theology over X, but I did want to show how sneeky @WATCH_ACT arguments are, they attribute wrong motives and put words in others mouths, & their posts go against the 5 guiding principles of mutual flourishing.

@fionalstuart @WATCH_ACT I am not sure why you are asking me that exactly? I don't think misogyny is ok, none of my messages would suggest I do but that word is a deviation brought in by @WATCH_ACT from Tim’s original post. For info, I also don't think All Souls theological position is “misogyny”.

@ImogenPigeon @WATCH_ACT What other version is there?! I’m talking about that, too. Misogyny that I hear about from women priests time and time again. Misogyny from male priests who don’t agree with women priests. This is not in question. My question to you is, is this OK?

@ImogenPigeon @WATCH_ACT And as I said, there are two different things here. It's one thing to disagree with WATCH, which you're entitled to do (I'm not affiliated to them btw), but quite another to dismiss the misogyny faced by women priests on a daily basis, which is common knowledge. That's appalling.

@fionalstuart @WATCH_ACT Don't let them persuade you that they are nobly fighting for women rights, they are certainly not representing me as a women and my views with their divisive approach and misrepresentation. STRAW MAN arguments are their bread and butter.

@ImogenPigeon @WATCH_ACT It's two seperate things. 1. the position 2. The misogyny women priests face on a daily basis. This post is about No. 2. Do you think it's acceptable?

@fionalstuart @WATCH_ACT It's not misogyny. It is a theological position that is supported globally and throughout history. @WATCH_ACT reduces the position to something it is not and they repeatedly misrepresent and/or create straw man arguments and are aggressive and prejudiced…

@WATCH_ACT You DO need to abide by the 5 guiding principles though. 4.People who, for theological reasons, cannot accept the ministry of women priests or bishops are still considered part of the Church’s theological spectrum. The Church commits to helping them flourish within its structures

Dear Timothée Chalamet, Mocking opera is no small thing Opera was born in Italy 🇮🇹 , Florence, in the late 1500s and early 1600s, and it deserves respect Maybe you and your girlfriend should give it a try You might find it less boring than tennis 👇
Hanz@fashionistaera

Timothée Chalamet mocking ballet & Opera, art forms that are around for 400+ yrs.👏 Ballet requires yrs of brutal discipline & live performance where there are no 100 retakes like in film. Even Matthew wanted to shut it down. That’s why he’s dating a Kardashian. Bye,bye Oscar!
