how do you quantify taste?

if you’re ever confused about how reps beat all else listen to your favourite podcasts first episode especially podcasters who are 4-500 episodes in and there you will learn how showing up every day over time creates greatness their cadence is usually all over the place, audio is trash, edits are sloppy but 500 episodes later they are amazing and i think the key point here is that most people just give up too early i fucking hate 99% of the content i’m posting currently, it’s unnatural to me and still hitting that cringe/ self doubt stage but we do it anyways where will you be in a year if you show up daily? probably A MF GREAT PLACE BRUH

software engineers will not be replaced by ai any time soon. working with a technical co-founder you realise a couple of things (as a non-technical). 1. vibe coding - while incredibly fun and addictive - the amount of slop produced is unscalable and interferes with all aspects of a projects long term success. 2. software engineering is not just code - it is the systems and experience of knowing when to take on technical debt, where you can or cannot push the project in terms of deadlines and dream features. 3. ai tools perform best in the hands of someone who understands in great depth - systems. creativity in vibe coding is great but in all reality (and i've seen this side by side) the technical proficiency of a senior developer vs your weekend side project -regardless of how many hours you put in to it. is night and day. vibe coding (in its current form) is great for simple projects and MVPs, creativity and testing, it is wise to pair up with a cracked dev - lean into each others strengths and go build something great

Like a lot of you I started vibe coding using replit, bolt, lovable etc. Signed up to the 25eur account then spent thousands building MVPs and apps that would keep breaking, I'd end up getting frustrated and start the whole app all over again. Then I moved to Claude Code - 20 then 100 then 200 plan (which is where I currently live) however then I realised that in a lot of ways coding in the terminal is actually fun at all. No lovely interface/ builder like lovable replit etc just boring lines of code (which is not why we got into vibe coding in the first place). That's why myself and my co-founder built Anubix . Currently we are fully hashing out the backend but this is a tool for serious vibe coders not hobbyists. This is for those who outgrew the normie APP builders and are comfortable in knowing what GitHub is heh. It's a propmt-focused builder with Fullstack tools to build actual full working SaaS products not just MVPs. Our dev (10yrs Senior DEV) is literally building the full app using the app itself - coding from the beach, a plane (we posted videos of on TikTok) it's a fully working Mobile/Web IDE where you can spin up virtual computers - build complex repositories the list goes on. The dev is also implementing a 'patterns' features where you will be able to borrow (or steal) using production-ready code blocks you drop into any project. Auth, payments, search, real-time. One tap add. having started AI consulting for businesses recently i noticed that most are still using chat gpt like google premium with no knowledge of any other AIs none knew what claude co-work was we’re early lol

@AoverK Shid I’m somewhere near $500+ a month between Claude Max, Chat Pro and the whatever the Google stack plan is. Not to mention the agentic IDEs.

Paying $20/mo for AI puts you in the 0.3% globally. Using AI for tasks like coding puts you in the 0.04% globally with only 2-5 million doing this. We’re still early.
