PSA - do not use @FirestoneAuto My daughter had her brakes “fixed” a few weeks ago at a location in Raleigh. On her way to Charleston Wednesday, her car was making a noise & the brakes went out. Luckily she was on a city side street and used the emergency brake to stop. 🧵

Tires with 11,000 miles and a nail. Firestone told me they are not repairable. Firestone said this is not repairable because of the location and that I would need a new tire. It's a slow leak, about 1-2 psi a day. I am in disbelief that this is not repairable.. Can I not just get a fix kit? 🤧

@StarsAndScopes @CrazyVibes_1 @FirestoneAuto After I got work done there, I swore to never go back again. But, sometimes when your in a jam, which I was they were my closest for a tow truck. That was a costly day. Lesson learned.

“So this happened in Montana. I'm on my way to go to my interview this morning when I get pulled over by a police officer. I am native American and my friend that was with me is black. Just saying. Both brake lights decided to go out this time. As he walked to the car and I was pulling out my stuff, he quickly said, "Don't worry about pulling anything out. I just want you to know that your brake lights are out." So I'm immediately upset, because I just got them replaced like last month. So I explained to him how Firestone wants to charge me $600 just to run a test on the wiring of the car. He looked at me like 😨 and told me to pop the trunk. He checked the lights in the trunk and tapped them, but they didn't come on. So he told me to pop the hood to check the relay box then asked me to get out to check the other one. Then worked on the wiring under the dash. He could've easily given me a ticket, but Officer Jenkins stepped out of the officer role, and into the mechanic role, and human role to make sure I was straight. By the way, HE FIXED THEM. Not everyone is racist or a bad cop.

Firestone is the most crooked car repair chain in the US. 3 yrs ago my car repair estimate was 1800. but I should spend 3,000. to change other parts since they "had to take everything apart anyway." Got a 2nd opinion. Part and labor cost me $225. NO problem since.@FirestoneAuto

@FirestoneAuto 2nd gen customer that has taken many different cars 2 Firestone shops. Now when u made a clear/documented mistake (wrong oil filter) that damages my engine, your claims department is non responsive for over a month now. Not a single call back. Disappointed.

Had a slow leak in a new tire for about a week or so. Finally decided to get it repaired. This is a shout out to @FirestoneAuto. A local store had to work hard and do some innovating to get my ride off the ground. Fixed the shoe like a proper cobbler. And didn't rob me. 10/10.

@FirestoneAuto you mean, complete auto destruction and dishonest credit organization? Yep. CFNA sends me their statement LATE, and then they have the nerve to charge me late fees, and when I refuse to pay it, they continue to lop on late fee after late fee! Firestone/CFNA REPRESENT ALL THAT IS WRONG IN CORPORATE AMERICA. And Firestone recommended services I didn't need, as well. AVOID FIRESTONE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

@FirestoneAuto Firestone will overcharge you, they will try to get you to do repairs you don't need, etc etc. Avoid them like the plague.

It may remind you of the gym, but there’s no flexing involved. The Anti-lock Brake System light means you could have wheel speed sensor malfunction, low brake fluid, or loss of hydraulic pressure. If your ABS light is on, swing by so one of our technicians can find the solution.
