@cirnosad "Angular bend", are you retarded? The plane on the ground still has fuel, when it was demo'd the resulting fire melted the composite propellers. Those engines are clearly damaged far beyond any usefulness, and the fuselage is completely dismantled. Shot downs don't look like this

Anyone with a modicum understanding of physics knows this is a crash. Look at the angular bend on the propellers. This aircraft was shot down. The proximity of the helicopter parts indicate that it was shot down as a unit. This was a mass casualty event for AFSOC. Disaster.

@adequateQwality @w4ffl3fr1es A cup of water actually has 4 times the volume of a quarter cup of olive oil. You don't really need much room at all, it can be consumed at essentially any time. Better yet, simply add more oil to what little food you eat.

Gonna be insensitive for a sec but unless u have a medical condition, gaining weight is easier than losing. My local gas station makes a 1.5k calorie smoothie, 5tbsp of peanut butter is 1000cals. I refuse to believe these people who complain actually try

@adequateQwality @w4ffl3fr1es You do not need an appetite to say, drink a quarter cup of olive oil (480 calories). You can just do it as easily as you could drink a cup of water. It's all in your mind, you simply have to do it.

@w4ffl3fr1es The difficulty with gaining weight is NOT in the availability or variety of high calorie food/drink options. It's the literal physical act of consuming those calories and some people struggling with their appetite.

@CigmaierAlt @cryptopunk7213 @AnushkaaTyagii And the AI coding tools enable developers to spend more time on the important code, while still increasing their productivity by automating menial work. The net gain is obvious to all with sufficiently good tooling.

@cryptopunk7213 @AnushkaaTyagii I guess you two are not aware what happened to tech companies that demanded a big portion of their coding to be made by AI. Good coders are not using AI to write for them, but as a tool for the mundane scraps. Anything important is still done by "hand".

genuine question: why are the arts and gaming communities so fucking touchy about ai? i get that 99% of examples are slop but we’re reaching a point where ai-generated media is indistinguishable for 90% of the world that shouldn’t go un-acknowledged just because you want to hide behind a professional identity ai isn’t going away, it’s getting (a lot) better, so why not try and figure out how to work with it to your advantage? isn’t that what a bunch of hollywood is realising now? doomer: “NO THIS IS NOWHERE CLOSE TO PIXAR GRADE” 8 year old (target audience): “haha that’s awesome” what am i missing?
Is this a 3D model?@IsThisA3DModel

no and this is nowhere close to "Pixar-grade"

@blkhellscythe @whocareenergy @NxtDeterio @tivstippi Right, but I don't think the other guy you were replying to simply meant it in the 1 directional way you had mentioned. The discussion here is more a commentary on the end result rather than the intentions that got us there.

@firstLast31415 @whocareenergy @NxtDeterio @tivstippi femininity being attractive to others doesn’t mean that women actively choose to appear more feminine to be more *sexually* attractive. while part of it may come from a desire to look presentable in a general sense, it doesn’t mean it’s an intentional effort to attract men

@blkhellscythe @whocareenergy @NxtDeterio @tivstippi Femininity is attractive to others. Presenting as more feminine will likely make a woman more attractive, even if the intention is not that. This is not the one way relationship you are perceiving here. The same goes for masculinity.

@whocareenergy @NxtDeterio @tivstippi i very much am thinking thank you very much lol it’s exactly why i think this rhetoric very much toes into misogynistic rhetoric. your whole argument relies on thinking feminine presentation is in of itself an attempt to sexually attract others, which is BS. not entertaining this

When an American military pilot ejects in hostile territory, a carefully rehearsed survival sequence begins. The pilot’s first priority is to avoid capture and establish concealment. Training emphasizes immediate movement away from the ejection site, since enemy forces will likely converge there. The pilot seeks cover, uses terrain to advantage, and applies survival, evasion, resistance, and escape techniques. Communication with friendly forces is attempted only when it is safe, using secure channels and coded signals. Rescue operations may involve combat search and rescue teams, helicopters, or drones coordinating with the pilot’s beacon. The pilot carries specialized equipment designed for survival and recovery. Among the most critical is a military-grade GPS receiver, often integrated into a handheld survival radio such as the PRC-112 or newer variants. These devices combine encrypted GPS navigation with secure communication, allowing the pilot to transmit location data to rescue forces without interception. The GPS is rugged, resistant to jamming, and capable of operating in adverse conditions. In addition to navigation and signaling gear, the pilot is issued a sidearm for personal defense. This is typically a standard-issue military pistol, compact and reliable, intended for last-resort protection rather than prolonged combat. Alongside the firearm, the survival kit may include a knife, signaling mirror, flares, water purification tablets, and medical supplies. The situation is tense and dangerous, but the pilot’s training, equipment, and the commitment of search and rescue forces provide a fighting chance of survival and recovery.

U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle has been downed over Iranian territory. The aircrew ejected successfully. Combat Search and Rescue operations are currently underway.

I’m a Kuwaiti. Sirens go off here almost daily now. Iranian missiles and drones are hitting our refineries, airport fuel tanks and even our desalination plants, the same plants we rely on for drinking water. Don’t confuse that with support for Israel. Kuwait has always stood against Israeli aggression, but when Iran is the one firing missiles at our homes, you can’t expect us to pretend that isn’t the immediate threat we’re living with.
Alex Barreto@alexbcnd

The problem I have is that in this discourse nobody is talking about how this war was started by Israel, not Iran, how Israel has invaded Lebanon and killed over a thousand civilians. Where is the outrage about what Israel is doing in the region and how they are celebrating the region going into chaos.

US soldiers are being ordered to live in hotels and offices spaces instead of on big base so they’re safer from missile strikes. NYT says it’s a violation of “law of war” , this is exactly what Ukraine and Russia do , it’s the only way to really do distributed operations .

Having grown up in south London, I can give you a 1000 reasons why I became a conservative and this is one of them. The fact that we have allowed American ghetto culture to dominate the lives of inner city black youth, and not talk about it —because it’s not “progressive” or “proper” to do so — is leading us nowhere. Yes, some may weaponise it into racial hatred, but without facing the issue and a proper diagnosis, there will be no solution.
Ike Ijeh@ikeijeh

This is not a black problem, children do not generally behave like this in Ethiopia. However, it would be foolish to ignore the fact that the majority of youths in Clapham's disorder seem to be black. If we're too afraid to ask why this started, we'll never find out how it stops.
