You have to understand that there is NO ONE who is more important than @RealCandaceO and that THE RULES are for everyone else and NOT for her. I firmly believe that she believes that, and she's got people like @JohnMappin and her other backers AND her useful idiots AND THE BOTS telling her that 24/7. They are feeding that hate and that narcissism to the point where she will implode live, right in front of the world. And none of them will care because they will have had their fun and made their money watching her be the conduit for their hate, not just her own. Yes, when it all goes belly up, they'll all be just like "Bob" from "Demolition Man" and be the "hype men" for the next psychopath... and the cycle will start all over again.

And now she’s upset that attention and backlash exist? Meanwhile, she just mocked Erika for canceling an event because of threats on her life. Threats that didn’t come out of nowhere. They were fueled, in large part, by the kind of rhetoric Candace pushes. You don’t get to light the fire and then act shocked when it burns out of control.

Practically everyone I talk to is done with toxic divisive politics. They hate both sides because both sides are failures. Yes people still hold their core beliefs but they are fed up with the drama. As a former practicing Catholic and now non-denominational, I've had to explain to other Christians that there are things, like the idea of religious statues and what Paul is writing about, have to be looked at in contemporary context. What were the norms at the time? Even until fairly recent times, men would remove their hats and bow to ladies as a sign of courtesy. Maybe not wearing a hat while in prayer was/is a sign of respect to God, and maybe it was like "bearing one's soul", opening yourself up to God? Just a guess. I know that if I'm somewhere playing my pipes in front of a monument, etc., I take off any headgear, sunglasses, etc., out of respect. Again, just a guess.

I have to admit, Paul's writings on head coverings and hair length in 1 Corinthians 11 has me puzzled. Why such rules? Do men really have to take their hats off when praying? Do women really have to wear a head covering, otherwise shave bald? Is long hair really disgraceful for a man? I have to wonder if these sayings are idiomatic and we lost some context here. Where do you land on this?
