Today is #WorldBicycleDay 🌍🚲 @Hullccnews works with @firststep_cycle & @RevolutionYorks to teach cycling skills and provide services to people of all ages to keep them moving. We also appreciate the valuable input of @CycHullCity, @FoEHull & others as part of our Cycle Forum.

It is #WalkToSchoolWeek 🚶🏫 Last autumn, @livingstreets' WOW challenge came to #Hull and 11 schools have since signed up. From October 2024 to April 2025, 185,000 journeys were logged by pupils taking part, with a 33% increase in active travel & 33% rise in walking.
