The military absolutely stood idly by, as otherwise, over 100k wouldnt have gotten in to begin with, despite this being a known issue. Yet, you can provide no evidence for any of those claims other than the fact that Spain sent the military, which is also pretty quickly proven inconsequential, as they, as is documented on multiple video accounts, were told to essentially just stand by and prevent violence. You do realize nothing in this article is evidence of them leaving, right? Not a single video, photo, or anything beyond the quotes of local admins/officials trying to damage control. People were threatening to cut Spain off from the E.U., and some revoked travel privileges. Why, pray tell, would Spain NOT lie about the issue in order to maintain their status/access/revenue? If you can show me any proof that we can both SEE with our own eyes of them leaving en masse, then sure, but as of now, there are only thousands of examples of the opposite, and not one example of what you, or the desperate Spanish government/their representatives in media/culture (who allowed this) claim.
