@ronrule Not sure if that's the case for all states, or crossing state lines. Can TN look up TX DMV info?

Why do we still have paper vehicle registrations and tag stickers? The cops look it up in real-time from the license plate. They know if the registration is valid before they step out of the cruiser.

@haydendevs Back in the day, my university (large-state-public) refused to send my transcripts to a prospective employer because I owed $12 for a damaged towel rack in my dorm room from 8 years ago. I had to drive there and give them a check to get them to release the transcripts.

I have $500 in unpaid campus parking tickets, I don't actually have to pay this right? They aren't the law?

@aaronfitt They need to start w/ 1-2 games Mon and no more than 3 on Tues/Wed unless they take a lower seeded game each day and play at UNC Charlotte or Davidson or the Kannapolis MiLB park to prevent the 9 pm game from being an 11 PM game

Congratulations to this Duke/NC State game for setting a real winning tone for the week here in Charlotte. Duke wins 21-12 in a riveting 4-hour, 19-minute thriller. Four games per day in this bandbox should be illegal. Also, throwing strikes should be encouraged. That is all.

Game 2 out of 4 today here in Charlotte is a classic ACC showdown between Cal and Stanford. It will get started at 2:20 pm, instead of the scheduled 1 pm (LOL). If you actually expected any of these games to start anywhere close to on time these first two days, well...

@NancyMace Taxes on a house in FL valued at $600k I owned since 2003 are about $4k due to homestead. Yearly income I have out of NC of about $150k generates state income tax there of about $6k. So for me, I would rather state income taxes be abolished.

Which would you prefer? Eliminate the state income tax or property taxes? Please pick one (although truth be told I want to do both).

@11point7 A strong mid-major with that exact same resume doesn’t come close to getting in and is nowhere near “the bubble.” Not saying the mid-major should get in, but its just another example of the fraudulency (yes made up word) of the selection process.

@NickRodecap In Florida it is legal only in torrential rain causing extreme low visibility on a highway with a speed limit greater than 55. It is illegal in every other instance. I guess the issue is what qualifies as “torrential” and “extreme low visibility.” Officer discretion?

If you aren’t driving a semi, there is no reason to turn your hazard lights on when driving in the rain. Anyone who engages in this behavior should have their license revoked. It is beyond needless.
