The push for sport specialization is at an all-time high in youth sports, @FitzgeraldETS explained on Day 3 of #TCSLive. Exposure to various sports will instil competitiveness that translates across all sports. hubs.la/Q03sVVFs0

Since it's youth football Jamboree day here's a message to all the football parents and coaches out there... Back in 2017, my 5th/6th grade youth football team went 0-8 No wins... lots of losses. In 2024/25 7 out of those 18 kids will play a college sport. I can't tell you how meaningless youth football is to your son's potential high school football career. Nothing truly happens until after puberty. Doesn't matter what "elite" organization you play for. Doesn't matter what town you play for. Doesn't matter if you're the best player or only play 10 plays. Doesn't matter how many times you go to Florida. Doesn't matter how many superbowls you win. The only thing that matters is that you have fun and learn to love the game. I've seen the best youth player quit in high school... I've seen heavy slow lineman become a stud high school running back. I've seen the monster kid just average size in high school. Do not care, do not compare... Learn skills... Have fun... Love the game... #football

"And everyone is smiling for ALL the right reasons because that goal meant so much more than just 1 on the scoreboard." On Tucker Out Lymphoma Night in Las Vegas, Sean Westley finds the back of the net in memory of Tucker; his friend and the reason he wore 51 at @BonniesMLax.

You can still be good on a bad day... You may be ice-cold missing shots, but you can still make passes, still rebound, and still play defense. You may not score a touchdown or make a tackle, but you can still block, fill a hole, take on a double team, or hustle on special teams. You may struggle at the plate, but you can still drop a bunt, stop a ground ball, or catch a fly. Finally, you can be a good teammate... pick other kids up, encourage, stay positive, hustle your ass off, and get behind the kid who is having a good day. You can still be good on a bad day...

Uhhhhhh. Not. Even. Close. Only guys I know falling asleep in two minutes are the ones exhausted from being up 2-3 days straight. Dudes on rotation aren’t falling asleep well at all, & by & large on sleep aides B/C no amount of breathwork can change a system this fried.

Brown rice is KILLING you? 🤣 Hey look @bulletproofexec and his orange glasses are back on my show As per usual, Dave just straight up making shit up. Brown rice does NOT have 80x more arsenic in it than white rice 😑 Maybe he meant to say 80% more? I guess math is hard. Also, both levels of arsenic in brown and white rice are ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE BELOW what it would take to cause issues (you’d need to consume over 215 kg of brown rice to even get to levels that cause problems lmao Also, I hate to pick on this, but since Dave loves to appeal to BS anecdotes, so can I. Did you know Dave is only 8 years older than me 😅 Thought he was supposed to be this anti-aging guru? Well wouldn’t you know training hard and just being consistent with reasonable nutrition appears to work a fuckload better than stupid bio hacks & putting butter in your coffee 🤷🏼‍♂️ Who’s next? 😤

No D-line or LB over 20 reps? In my opinion if you’re not over 20 reps and you plan to play in the trenches you’re not taking your job seriously. It’s not like it’s a surprise test! #CFLCombine What do you think?

@FitzgeraldETS Both! Research shows higher prevalence of early CAM development in specialized 10-14yo athletes Don’t typically see them in clinic before ~16yo for groin pain Very quad & ant hip dominant w/ overworked ADD mag and poor at moving laterally seems to be related to symptoms

FAI begins to develop between 10-14 years old But it only becomes a problem later in one’s hockey career 3 main risk factor for players between ages of 10-14 who develop FAI: - Play hockey > 8 months/year - Play hockey > 12hrs/week - Don’t include quality strength training
