Friday’s after-work drinks were not a good idea for this drunk-driver after he smashed into the side of another car in Morpeth. I have zero sympathy for anyone who gets behind the wheel like this.

@RedBSierra @KieraDiss In the days afterwards everyone was telling me how they's have done it. My reply was always the same. Drink until you blow 127, then try making a plan while you're driving/sprinting as fast as you can. Most people cannot stand up straight at 127, let alone think straight.

@five2oneplease @KieraDiss how far did you run? was it on foot or pursuit? ect. I've done a lot more than that just volunteering, charity shops can be decnt inital retail experience also.

@RedBSierra @KieraDiss 32 month ban, 6 month suspended sentence and 150 community hours (luckily in a charity shop).

@JonasLeng I only work to fund my lifestyle; however, now betting is almost impossible unless done on course, I don't really have an incentive to work. So in a way he's right, high levels of benefits are appealing to me right now. I could get PIP for the medication I'm on.

@davidrobertbeal @itvracing The on course shops like Hills at York this week will take bets up to £1999.99 - they'll want to do a check at £2k. That's per bet, and very fair imo. The Gambling Commission doesn't understand betting or punters, which is the real problem.
