@stellachenyl The only Chinese tradition I can think of is burning stuff. Funereal burn stuff, Chinese new year burn stuff. Most of this is banned now in china - and for good reasons. Chinese is based on values, love and respect your family. Work hard. That is Chinese.

I apologize if I sound insulting to most overseas Chinese, but I wonder why many overseas Chinese nowadays don't care about Chinese traditions. Majority cultures in other countries respect Chinese only when Chinese follow traditions. Nobody allows Chinese to stop being Chinese.
