Eastern NC is seeing it as well. The CA stuff was always bad science by non-scientists. The plates don't move for that happen.

@fixedintime @BlueTexan60 @GovAbbott I wouldn’t call it savvy shopping. I hate it. You have to research really hard based on your normal usage. They put our crap of per 1000 KWH @ 8 cents a KWH then you find out they charge .20 a KWH at 2000 KWH. So you use 2000 you have to find a plan cheap at that usage.

Their take seems to be directed at bills that customers have yet to see. More along the lines of this is the increase they will start to see soon.

@mudbug454 @BlueTexan60 @GovAbbott Daughter was in Houston for the freeze. She ended up with a broken pipe. Did not do too much damage. I got the impression that to get good rates in TX you had to do some savvy shopping among the various providers.

@fixedintime @BlueTexan60 @GovAbbott I can’t say what they do. Maybe trying to guess taxes and service fee’s? Maybe scare tactics to reduce usage? I have no idea. During the freeze I went 5 days with out power and it showed I had usage on those days. Then the bill came in and it showed 0 for those days.

Follow a guy in NV who has solar and a Tesla. They do day night rates. He seems to think it is a good deal for him. I don't recall what numbers he has posted.
