Edappadi K. Palaniswami (Gen Secy of the AIADMK) to discuss the protection, welfare, and overall advancement of SC community people in Tamil Nadu. The delegation presented key recommendations addressing socio-economic development and measures for preventing atrocities against marginalized groups, in light of the forthcoming Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections. Representing the Forum of Indian Women Intellectuals (FIWI), Shalin Aria Lawrence also presented the Dalit Women’s Election Report to Mr. Palaniswami. Despite his busy election campaign, the AIADMK leader extended a special invitation for the consultation, patiently heard the delegation’s views, and responded with empathy and respect. With favorable prospects for an AIADMK-led government, observers noted that the meeting was timely and productive, opening opportunities for meaningful collaboration in addressing social and developmental challenges faced by Scheduled Communities across the state. The discussions reflected a shared commitment to justice, equality, and inclusive progress for marginalized communities in the years ahead.
