@AFTVMedia It's not about what anyone thinks, it's just a plainly stupid decision, does it all the time, it's like this guy has a self subbotage switch in his head.
English

@JamesB_afc Certainly looks like that especially when Zubimendi comes on and we lose all momentum going forward.
English

@AFTVMedia If he squares that to Gyokeres it's one nil to the Arsenal
English

@AFTVMedia Mosquera has played well in that position before, why move Rice there, whete he is less effective, man this coach.

@talkSPORT The fact that you guys would tweet something as absurd as this is just ridiculous. When has eufa ever intervened to stop a match because of hate watchers?

@Vadyegoraa Always curious as to what does it really entail, to go fight Zanu or go challenge Zanu.

@troopzafc Forget the pass, Odegaard should be scoring , no excuses at that level.

The Animal Welfare Society of South Africa has issued an urgent warning over a disturbing new hijacking tactic reportedly being used on the Cape Flats along the R300.
Criminals are allegedly hanging dogs from concrete palisade walls with wire around their necks, hoping the shocking scenes will prompt motorists to stop and assist, making them vulnerable to robbery.
The warning follows an incident on Sunday, 26 April, when a motorist spotted one dog hanging from a wall near Samora Machel and another trapped between concrete palisades.
Suspecting it could be a trap, the motorist alerted the organisation instead of stopping.
Senior Inspector Sivuyile Kilwa and Senior Nurse Michelle Henning responded quickly, but both dogs had already died from injuries and suffocation.
The society says this may not be an isolated case and reflects the extreme cruelty criminals are willing to use.
Motorists are urged not to stop if they encounter such scenes, but instead report it immediately to the Animal Welfare Society emergency hotline on 082 601 1761.

Atteridgeville, Pretoria:
Armed suspects stormed a house and robbed the occupants of phones, cash, and a vehicle belonging to the homeowner.
The victim’s son-in-law, who was on a call with his wife when it suddenly cut off, heard the disturbance and rushed to the house.
On arrival, he found 3/4 suspects attempting to flee in the stolen vehicle.
When he approached, they allegedly opened fire and shot him in the stomach.
He returned fire, fatally shooting two suspects, wounding another, while one managed to escape.
WARNING: ⚠️ Graphic.

[HAPPENING TODAY]
#Mugabe
Bellarmine Mugabe, the son of former Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe and his co-accused Tobias Matonhodze, will be SENTENCED today.
Mugabe pleaded GUILTY to being ILLEGAL in South Africa and pointing a firearm.
But, the latter charge relates to another incident, just two weeks before the shooting of his security guard, Sipho Mahlangu, at his Hyde Park home.
Matonhodze pleaded GUILTY to attempted murder, defeating the ends of justice, contravening the country's immigration laws and possession of ammunition.
We also heard that Mahlangu was compensated. While the defence has asked for a non custodial sentence, the state says both accused showed no remorse as the gun used on the day in question has still not been found.

@NTakura01 @taiosino It's tiring bra, can't win with these ones, they are the 'special ones', everyone wants to be them, apparently having an SA passport gives you some sort of privilege abroad.
English

@Kolie_Yola @taiosino Have you ever noticed the moment someone brings up the fact that SAs are in other countries illegally they quickly deny it and say it's Zims and Nigerians claiming to be SAs. The denial is too much. Accept your people. You think all your people are all holy than all else?
English

Nobody forgets that. South Africans in other countries are there legally, with valid permits and visas to live and work.
South Africa, on the other hand, often fails to enforce its own immigration laws, allowing anyone to live and work here without proper documentation.

You guys forget that there’s other South Africans living and working in other African countries neh?

ILLEGAL ZIMBABWEAN NATIONAL SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS’ IMPRISONMENT FOR MURDER
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) welcomes the sentence handed down by the Pretoria North Magistrates’ Court, where Leonard Khoza (42) was sentenced to 15 years’ direct imprisonment for the murder of fellow Zimbabwean national, Aluwisi Verengere. He was further sentenced to two years’ imprisonment for contravening immigration laws by being in the country illegally. The court ordered that the sentences run concurrently and that Khoza be deported to his country of origin upon completion of his sentence.
On the evening of 04 February 2023, the deceased and a group of other Zimbabwean nationals were gathered behind Virgin Active in Wonderboom, where some were playing cards while others were consuming alcohol. During this time, Verengere realised that his cellphone was missing and requested search those who were with him.
While some individuals consented to being searched, Khoza and his two brothers refused.
Following their refusal, Verengere indicated that he would consult a traditional healer to identify and bewitch the person responsible for taking his phone.
This led to an altercation between Khoza and the deceased.
During the altercation, Khoza picked up a stone and threw it at Verengere, striking him on the head. The deceased collapsed and was later declared dead at the scene.
Following police investigations, Khoza was arrested on 04 August 2023, approximately five months after the incident, and has remained in custody since.
In court, Khoza pleaded not guilty and denied committing the offence, claiming that he was not in South Africa at the time. However, Regional Court Prosecutor Lufuno Manena led the evidence of two eyewitnesses who were present at the scene, successfully proving the State’s case beyond a reasonable doubt.
During sentencing, the defence requested the court to deviate from the prescribed minimum sentence of 15 years’ imprisonment, citing that Khoza is a first offender. The State opposed this request, arguing that the offence was serious and that Khoza had shown no remorse, as he continued to deny responsibility even after conviction.
Magistrate Pieter Nel agreed with the State, finding that Khoza had demonstrated no remorse and that there were no substantial and compelling circumstances to justify a deviation from the prescribed minimum sentence. The court accordingly imposed the sentence of 15 years’ imprisonment.

@tafimhaka Sithole and Nkomo would have been better leaders for Zimbabwe. Kwete matsotsi aya

@Princymthombeni Not showing up is also a form of protest. It's an independence day celebration that has been heavily politicised. What's there to gather for anyway.
English

They have energy for everything except showing up for their own nation.
