Accelerating progress on eliminating child poverty requires making children living in poverty, visible; understanding their characteristics, needs and potential. Systematic monitoring and measurement is essential to accelerate progress around SDG1 targets. @UNICEFSocPolicy

The @globalcoalition looked at how countries measure and address child poverty. Since 2017, 179 countries have submitted 262 Voluntary National Reviews reporting on sustainable development progress. Only 30% provided estimates on monetary child poverty: uni.cf/3k2XYlN
