@ShiftMaster53 This came out at a time where people had convinced themselves that 2d platformers = boring if it had Sonic the Hedgehog in it so I can see why it flies under the radar

Sonic Gens 3DS is super underrated, I absolutely ADORE how snappy and instantaneous every action is, it's one of the most fun controlling games in the entire Sonic series.

@ShiftMaster53 I don't think the skill floor being high is necessarily a downside. Although it does lower the accessibility of the game, that higher skill requirement allows for more complex gameplay scenarios and also helps to support the game's replay value (something very important to sonic)

Sonic Robo Blast 2 is one of the best fan games the series has seen. I do think the skill floor is a *little* too high, but once you master it dude this is such an interesting, depthful, and satisfying game, both in mechanics and level design.
