I want to sincerely apologize to the young fan. Everything happened so fast, and I honestly didn’t realize I was reaching for the hat with a kid until afterward, and yes i definitely should’ve been more aware. Once I realized, I asked if I should give the hat back, but I was told to keep it since it was a race for the hat. Even so, I’d still like to make it right. I’m planning to work with the event staff to find him and his family so I can give him the brand-new unworn hat and four tickets for his family to attend a future training camp. I hope I can turn this into a positive experience for him.🙏🏾 I’m a Huge fan and even more of a fan of the future Texans fans so this is unacceptable on my end!
