Do the people in the 15 cars backed up at the Starbucks drive-thru not realize that if they park and walk in, there's no line at the counter, or do they just dislike getting out of their car that much.

@sekitsuii Like 66-68 min, I walk about 21-22 min mile and it takes me a little over 3 miles to get 10k steps

how long does it take u guys to walk 10k steps am i just a speed walker or something , it takes me exactly an hour to reach 10k so 20k takes me like 2 hours , 2 and a half MAX if im walking slow

My brother and I are only 15 months apart (Irish twins) and grew up in the same home in the same conditions. My brother started smoking weed when he was about 13-14 years old. I'm a very successful engineer with an intact family and a high paying job. My brother is a complete burnout handyman whose entire life revolves around access to weed.

@SigmaINFJ5w4 @joel_krahn @triiadxx When you work in healthcare and see patients in an outpatient setting as a nurse, MA, CNA,etc 5 days/wk, you can’t leave or be flexible. They make you use your PTO so yes it exists. It happened to me for 15 years before I went to bedside nursing and only work 3 days/wk.

Nah. I've never known anyone who can't get out of work to go to a doctor appointment. Even in the most inflexible job. That's just ridiculous. I used to manage hundreds of people. They always got off the time the requested. You can't not deny them that. If it was a problem, we'd make an accommodation for later and add it into the schedule.....but that was almost never.

no one prepared me for the fact that when you have a 9-5 you can't like. go to the dentist or the doctor or anything anymore. because you work. and when you don't work they're closed.

@LizWolfeReason Short answer. It includes anyone under the age of 18. If they make an exception for you then they have to make exceptions for others because I’m sure others have valid arguments too and then it ends up not being a child free wedding.

Not to start A Discourse but I was invited to a child-free wedding on the West Coast in January. It will be 3 wks after I have my baby. Does "child-free wedding" also include very young newborns? Curious about thoughts. Newborns (to my mind) are basically nonexistent.
