BREAKING: Joanne Thompson, Canada's Minister of Fisheries has denied an export permit to ship 30 beluga whales from Marineland to the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom in China. A deal had been reached to export them, the minister said no.
The whales will likely now be euthanized.
