Since joining @scouts at 8, I’ve gained confidence, leadership and friendships that’ve set me up for life. I’ve led a six, volunteered at WSJ and even Chaired the District I grew up in, and now I’m ready to give more back. That’s why I’m putting myself forward to be a Trustee:

Massive congratulations to Ayesha on being selected as the next UK Youth Commissioner for the @scouts.   I’m looking forward to seeing how Ayesha takes the lead with our Youth Shaped strategy and her plans for the role and how we can implement it locally.

And so with the close of the AGM this afternoon ends my 3+ years as Youth Commissioner for North Leeds. It's been an incredible journey. I've met so many interesting and passionate people and grown so much through my experience. Now time to begin the next adventure.
