@CtSPACula @rightcentrism @chamath @grok Trump didn’t “famously assert there were good people on both sides” referring to the Nazi’s. He was referring to both sides of the debate about tearing down statues. He clearly said he WASN’T talking about Nazis. You’ve been lied to. Go watch the tape.

@rightcentrism @chamath @grok I don’t know if you recall unite the right rally which was neonazis, klansmen, white supremacist, far right militias. Counter protestors were predominantly groups that the right now demonizes, and Trump famously asserted there were good people on both sides.

@DrPareto2025 @cybrtrkguy I couldn’t imagine genuinely believing someone is a Nazi who also protects pedophiles and then paying them every month so I could get a blue check mark on their social media site. You either know you’re lying or your moral compass is nonexistent.

@thedehn @mcuban @Schack17 Obviously, promotion/relegation would be exciting, but it’s unrealistic. Why would any current owner agree to this? It adds value to minor league teams, but destroys value for current NBA teams.

@mcuban @Schack17 The Premier League is the right answer for tanking! Don’t wanna win? Okay, well, you’re a minor league team now.

Why the NBA should embrace tanking - The NBA has kate been misguided thinking that fans want to see their teams compete every night with a chance to win. It’s never been that way that way. When I got into the nba, they thought they were in the basketball business. They aren’t. They are in the business of creating experiences for fans. Few can remember the score from the last game they saw or went to. They can’t remember the dunks or shots. What they remember is who they were with. Their family, friends, a date. That’s what makes the experience special. Fans know their team can’t win every game. They know only one team can win a ring. What fan that care about their team’s record want is hope. Hope they will get better and have a chance to compete for the playoffs and then maybe a ring. The one way to get closer to that is via the draft. And trades. And cap room. You have a better chance of improving via all 3 , when you tank. We didn’t tank often. Only a few times over 23 years, but when we did, our fans appreciated it. And it got us to where we could improve, trade up to get Luka and improve our team. The nba should worry more about fan experience than tanking. It should worry more about pricing fans out of games than tanking. You know who cares the least about tanking , a parent who cant afford to bring their 3 kids to a game and buy their kids a jersey of their fave player Tanking isn’t the issue. Affordability and quality of game presentation are

@bigfloater74 @BarronTNews_ Based on 2025 NATO estimates: - US defense spending: $980 billion - European NATO allies (incl. EU members & non-EU like UK, Turkey): $608 billion EU-specific spending is ~€381B (~$421B USD), but combined with allies, it's still below the US. Sources: NATO, EU Council.

🚨 HOLY SMOKES. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte just dropped TRUTH NUKES on Europe — and he’s siding with Trump. “If anyone thinks the European Union or Europe can defend itself without the U.S., KEEP ON DREAMING. You can’t. We can’t.” And it gets better. “Europe — if you REALLY want to go it alone, forget 5% of GDP for defense. It would be 10%. You’d have to build your own nuclear capability.” “That costs billions and billions. You would lose the ultimate guarantor of our freedom — the U.S. nuclear umbrella. So… good luck.” There it is. No America. No security. Trump was right. Again.

@SeanLeague2 @mcuban @Sandybestdog @financedystop 1) He didn’t go to a different Kaiser facility, he went to a non-Kaiser facility. Kaiser doesn’t have cash pay rates. 2) Cancelling insurance in CA will result in a penalty imposed by the State of 2.5% of income. 3) This plan falls apart with a catastrophic diagnosis.

As a personal example. We had Kaiser, my wife had to get an ultrasound for some female issues. We went in and asked how much it would cost. They told us, with insurance, $2800 because we had not met the deductible threshold yet. While I was waiting, one of the secretaries told us that if we went to another Kaiser facility and asked to pay cash it would be at least $2000 cheaper. We canceled the appointment right there and went to the other facility in Irvine, CA. We just said that we didn't have insurance and they charged us $290 minus $50 cash discount, so $240 for the same scan! This is the scam, and it has happened to us 3 times in the last six months, so we just started paying cash all the time and canceled our insurance. We now get seen same day, any doctor we want and save up to 10x the price. I am getting a CAT scan next week for $350 cash. kskimagingcenter.com/exam_pricing

@space89us @KyleTibbitts @kyleforalabama Okay, let’s be clear. If the insurance lobby wrote the law but Obama put his signature on it, that’s on Obama. If you’re claiming insurance companies literally wrote the bill and ever Democrat voted for it that’s an indictment on the entire Democrat Party.

@flewe100 @KyleTibbitts @kyleforalabama Just so we’re clear, you know as well as I do the insurance lobby wrote the law. I was never a fan of it, but if you wanna place blame, place it where it belongs. With the insurance companies & the greedy CEOs. How does O have any control over that?

@SAWReads @KyleTibbitts @kyleforalabama 5) Republicans didn’t “build the cliff.” Democrats unilaterally passed enhanced subsidies WITH a sunsetting provision. That is the definition of building the cliff. Blaming Republicans is wildly inaccurate.

@SAWReads @KyleTibbitts @kyleforalabama We can take these points 1 by 1. The individual mandate repeal first. California reinstated the Individual mandate. So by your logic, CA should be insulated from these increases. It’s not. Not only that, but the total covered individuals has gone up, not down.

@SAWReads @KyleTibbitts @kyleforalabama The ACA is a cost shifting machine. Now people are bitching about sunsetting enhanced subsidies, which are just a cost shifting mechanism. Neither party has a plan which addresses cost.

@SAWReads @KyleTibbitts @kyleforalabama 3) (cont) - these short term plans were also banned in about half the States, including CA and NY. If your logic was sound those States would have noticeably lowers premiums than other States. Look at the data - they don’t.

@SAWReads @KyleTibbitts @kyleforalabama #3 Short term plans. These were allowed under the ACA, Trump increased the duration from 3 months to 12 months. Again, Biden could have changed this day one but waiting until mid-2024 because this did give many people a more affordable option.

@SAWReads @KyleTibbitts @kyleforalabama 2) Cost sharing reductions. First off, this could have easily been reinstated by Biden, as with point 1, it wasn’t. Second, this ended up increasing subsidies for lower income people. The govt spent MORE money on healthcare, not less. Bad policy, but didn’t hurt consumers.

@julie_sweet35 @KyleTibbitts @kyleforalabama Sorry, Julie, you’re misinformed. Republicans never defunded Obamacare. Biden passed temporary ACA subsidies as part of Covid relief. They were made to expire - by Democrats. Now things are just going back to Obamacare - the bill Democrats passed. Thank the Dems.

@KyleTibbitts @kyleforalabama Um... the Republicans just defunded Obamacare. So, unless your tax break is BIGGER than the cost of the increase in your medical insurance... ... you have NOTHING to thank the Republicans for. 🙄

@shooshiMooshi @KyleTibbitts @kyleforalabama Hey, dumbfuck. Republicans didn’t just vote on anything. Obamacare established subsidies for individuals buying through exchanges. Biden increased those subsidies TEMPORARILY as part of Covid relief. That bill expired. Now we’re back to regular Obamacare.

@space89us @KyleTibbitts @kyleforalabama Just so we’re clear - the post is showing ACA/Obamacare exchange rates using the subsidy structure originally passed in the ACA. So how does Obama NOT own those costs? It’s his subsidy mechanism.

@John61926629 @KyleTibbitts @kyleforalabama You’re very wrong. ACA never reduced the increase in premiums. Quite the opposite. Look at the individual market, it’s skyrocketed. And the Indv Mandate repeal didn’t impact anything. California put it back in and it hasn’t fared any better.

@KyleTibbitts @kyleforalabama Affordable Care Act significantly reduced the rate of increase in premiums while getting more people insured. My Republicans then removed the requirement to participate (which raised premiums). Now they discovered they dont like tax credits. All because they are triggered
