There is a reason why I never advance ISU past the s16 in my NCAAT bracket no matter how good they’re supposed to be. I have nothing against ISU and I like Otzelberger but his ceiling as a coach is S16 and will have a hard time ever getting players good enough to lift him above that ceiling because ISU has no brand to draw them. So understand this real slowly- UK will outperform ISU next season, the next 5 seasons and the next 20 yrs as a whole just because you are who you are and UK is the greatest blue blood to ever exist. KNOW YOUR PLACE IN THE UNIVERSE before letting your keyboard override your BB IQ.

Nobody is afraid to admit lifting is mentally hard. I’m not guessing here. I’ve done both. A hard deadlift set is hard. Finishing a marathon is accumulated fatigue, pacing, fueling, damage control, and trying not to mentally fold after hours of work. It is not close.

I don’t have a dog in the fight, but in my experience running 800m repeats or an all-out mile is a significantly harder workout then going to failure on every exercise during a leg day at the gym. That’s not to say one is better or superior to the other, but 800’s or an all-out mile will have you asking God questions you’re scared to hear the answer to
