Polymarket did another scam First, Polymarket insiders bought No when Yes was trading at 70% Ronaldo cried after the match But Polymarket still dumped the market to 3% All the No holders (insiders) cashed out After that, the community put pressure on Polymarket that Ronaldo cried in the match Polymarket took time and told all insiders to buy Yes All insiders bought Yes at 3% Then they pumped it to 100% Polymarket team & insiders made money on both sides and the community got rekt

Also, shout out to @bosaurum who was the head of markets in Polymarket and lost his job yesterday. He probably had the most stressful job in Polymarket since one small mistake, one wrong word, could have been enough to create huge drama. Gone but not forgotten♥️

People don't realize how hard, or even impossible, it is to write prediction market rules that cover every edge case. Polymarket, Kalshi and every prediction market platform struggles with this. In the Ronaldo World Cup crying market, some people argued that the "clearly shed tears" clause shouldn't exist because of yesterday's edge case. But if that clause was removed, it would create new edge cases that the rules don’t cover. No rulebook will ever cover every possible scenario. What prediction markets should do is issue clarifications quickly when an ambiguity is identified and be transparent about how the clarification decision was made.

+322 500$ usd since the beginning of the year on my main account on polymarket excluding rewards. I look at this chart and I ask myself, how is it this so stable and only going up. I remember all the hours of studying ,the stressful nights full of doubts and yet looking at this chat its pretty much up only..... I am a college dropout with no special skills, if I can make it, anyone can make it. It just take dedication.

Two traders just made $20K+ within minutes on a fake story by NPR Shortly ago NPR published a story claiming Samuel Alito would retire from the Supreme Court. Traders quickly reacted to the news and sent the price to 99%. Two traders bought 40,000 shares of NO at 9ct Minutes later NPR retracted the story without explanation. Claiming it was published in error. The price immediately fell back to 40%. Both traders made a combined sum of $22,000+ and are currently selling.
