Tax preparation is full for today. We will offer it again Saturday, March 25th, after which the volunteers move to U of M Flint Riverfront Building for two Saturdays in April.

The Flint African American Quilters Guild Festival is back! Come out to view the beautiful quilts next Thursday - Saturday and join us for a presentation by quilt artist Lauren Austin on Saturday, October 15th at 2:00pm.

3. You don't have to be an accomplished writer with detailed descriptions or dialog. Just tell us the story like you would tell a friend. Longer stories are not necessarily better stories. We aren't judging your grammar, we just want to be scared.

It's that time of year again, so here's a thread on tips for submitting a Scary Story to Share fpl.info/posts/scary-st… 1. We want true stories that happened to you or someone you know. Not judging truth scientifically, as long as you believed it in the moment. 1/

2. Stories do not have to be paranormal! True crime or near misses are great. Think about it. Which is scarier, if you hear a noise in the night and no one is there, or someone is there? 2/
