@NYCconventicle@DebHarkness Happy birthday to a courageous and very special lady. Wishing you a peaceful birthday surrounded by friends and loved ones.
An epidemiologist from Johns Hopkins walks into a maskless party with 14 fully vaccinated friends… 11 of 14 got breakthrough #COVID19 —so yes, even some epidemiologists had severely underestimated #DeltaVariant. @CDCgov definitely made a grave mistake.

The White House released this photo today so that you know exactly what the president's priorities are as we approach 150,000 deaths and surpass 4 million cases.

No patriotic American should brandish or proudly celebrate the iconography of a rebellion that resulted in tremendous devastation, the loss of more than 620,000 American lives, and the continued subjugation of Black America.
On my walk & ran into these wonderful nurses from @ClevelandClinic who finish orientation today & begin work at @nyphospital tomorrow. It warmed my heart to see their CC backpacks and NYP coats! Glad they got to see @CentralParkNYC on this sunny day. Thank you all! @boissyad
I’m up in the middle of the night writhing in pain. Bent over to pick something up yesterday, and “threw out” my back. Old people stuff. I’m old. Doctors offices are busy. They’d only say rest anyway. This is were a massage would be good, but that business has crashed.
I am an orthopaedic surgeon. No one needs a joint replacement now. Use my theatres, use the beds in my ward, use ME: I would make the worst intensivist, but I can put a drip, transport patients, clean the floor, triage patients... #StopElectiveSurgery#flatteningthecurve
@ozvascdoc@Claudiadibella_ Yes - but may need to remove a cancer - so we need sensible medical consultant level doctors advising administrators as to appropriate elective triaging
