I'm Boris and I created Claude Code. Lots of people have asked how I use Claude Code, so I wanted to show off my setup a bit. My setup might be surprisingly vanilla! Claude Code works great out of the box, so I personally don't customize it much. There is no one correct way to use Claude Code: we intentionally build it in a way that you can use it, customize it, and hack it however you like. Each person on the Claude Code team uses it very differently. So, here goes.

Claude Code skills are kinda wild tbh I've got one for marketing copy, one for Phoenix code review, one for Ecto optimisation, one for UI feedback It's less "coding assistant" and more "team of specialists" now. Best skills you're using or come across?

Phoenix 1.8 ships with daisyUI as the default UI library, but the generated AGENTS file says: > manually write your own tailwind-based components instead of using daisyUI for a unique, world-class design 🤔 #myelixirstatus

Today I worked on improving keyboard navigation for my Phoenix LiveView dropdown component ⌨️

I recently learned that the AbortController in JavaScript has built-in timeout functionality. This means that you don't need to handle timeouts manually using setTimeout and clearTimeout, but can easily create a timeout signal when fetching data, for example.

@codestirring @daisyui_ Following bloom since the beginning. It‘s sad to hear that you don‘t have time to continue working on it. With the daisyUI default in Phoenix 1.8, it may also become more challenging , given that the built in components are using it as well. I‘ll make this open-source soon

@flo_arens @daisyui_ This is awesome Flo - any chance of open sourcing? bloom-ui.fly.dev was meant to be an extension of core components but I've not had the time to add more to it really.

@hunvreus @daisyui_ Looks great! I like the approach of bringing shadcn to any web stack. IMO, frameworks like Phoenix lack such great component libraries. But I want to build something especially for daysiUI and LiveView as daisyUI is installed by default in new LiveView apps.
