Check out this incredible pilot study on smoking that was just published in JAMA. Psilocybin-assisted therapy helped smokers quit at far higher rates than the nicotine patch. At 6 months, participants receiving psilocybin had over 6X greater odds of prolonged abstinence. Psychedelics may become one of our most powerful tools for treating addiction!
