@MarcDeMesel That's what russians do with iranian drones in Ukraine for years, and on much bigger scale. This might do big harm to economy, but some businesses will adapt

Really sad for Dubai/UAE. These drone attacks by Iran may continue for a long time and cause much harm to the most beautiful developped Arab country that welcommed so many Westerners and Easterners 😰 I was there many times last year and gave birth to a child of mine. I learned a lot about the Emirati people, befriended one, travelled through the country and even saw Iran shore lines just accross the Sea. I hope they are able to not take on too much damage, but I fear the worst. Drones, as the war in Ukraine shows, are so cheap and easily mass produced they can keep coming.

Sold half of my $ZEC position (2%) as I think fundamentals are not that strong given that privacy is only optional and the team is fighting. Still keep large exposure to #Alts (45%) as I still believe Crypto bull market is not over. For BTC, possible, but for Alts, not likely yet as their valuation vs BTC is still historically low and because in all previous cycles there was always an #Altseason, therefore it is more likely we will have one again during this Bull cycle. Some of the Small Caps from @ClassicValueInv are starting to perform like $ADUR and $OCO, but most were poor investments still. Continuing to sell my budget airline $VLRS and the little Gold and Silver that I had, only 0.5%, I sold as it is priced way above production cost now (200% or so, $1500 for gold per ounce) and sooner or later will be priced lower. #HolyGrailPortfolio

2025 Review: 10% Return for my #HolyGrailPortfolio. Compared to global returns a year of many missed opportunities. I considered but never invested in portfolio of @Vandamme_Jeroen whom invests in Gold, Mining Stocks & Silver, in Emerging Markets ETF's like China or Argentina and I sold my position in Uranium last year, all of whom pumped a lot. Instead I invested in Hedge Funds and Microcaps that overall had little returns. Also #Altcoins , my biggest position, had a difficult year, Total2 Index went down -20% despite being still in a bull market. I think my biggest mistake is to ignore the insight that I have long held that a decent commodity exposure is required to be protected in all climates, and to tell myself that a hedge fund can replace a commodity position, which is not the case as they can sell it without you even knowing. As a consequence my #HolyGrailPortfolio, even though it now has a decent cash position of 15% and several hedge funds totaling 30%, it still has little commodity exposure and therefore is not really diversified enough over different great uncorrelated investments, which is it's main objective. Since 2008 I still have CAGR of 23%, of which I am very proud, but I realize all this can be taken away if we get another great depression where most risk on assets would lose 90% of their value. I hope that my opinion that Macro/Stocks and Cryptos are likely to have a strong leg up before correcting, plays out, and I can lock in some profits and diversify the portfolio better.

If u feel left out of the #PrivacyCoins pump, lifting $ZEC and now also $DASH, $DCR and $PIVX, you are not too late. Still some privacy coins and projects that barely or not pumped yet. Thinking of $XMR & $ZANO that have good fundamentals, then there are small caps like $FIRO, $ARRR, $SCR, $ROSE I think this repricing of privacy projects is justified. People that use crypto expect it be private. Nobody wants that others see their transactions or assets.

@MarcDeMesel Did you hear about Midnight, project? (By Charles Hoskinson, Cardano founder). They are doing big airdrop for BTC and Ethereum holders (and some others). Marc, please check, it will continue next few days Hard to predict Midnight price, but it's free investment
