we havent posted anything on @touchgrass_pod for about 10 days now this is mostly because I was travelling for work but it was a necessary reset to give me and @24_gutta a moment to reflect on everything we were doing we're currently spending time thinking about the kind content we want to put out and how we can provide more value to our audience two things seem to be working - > our telegram group seems to add value - i regularly receive many comments on how its helping folks > our weekly roundup w Hamzah and Ishan seems to add value (this weekly episode has personally helped me with some position sizing) as we get closer to the 25 episode mark - it may also be time to get a thumbnail artist and find someone to put together a podcast intro video + a camera and mic for me - maybe even an IRL shoot(?) we have some ideas for our next few episodes - hoping y'all will like what we have in store for you touch grass.

1yr ago I was best at being a failed entrepreneur. Then @Ishanb22 brought me in to work under @rachit and do BD for clients of @scrib3_co. Twas a wildly fun leadership learning curve so I’m sharing 4 lessons: The top 4 1/ Staying organised 2/ Defaulting to questions (not answers) 3/ Team level up 4/ Clear comms 1/ Staying organised + visible We used a simple Notion doc for daily tasks. This was helpful since I had insight into what my stacked juniors were cooking + potential roadblocks. If I got bored - I could see what @rachit is up to & help. 2/ Defaulting to questions (not answers) Usually when you ask a question, you get an answer. But with @rachit it was never like that. He’d always ask “What do you think?”. It got so ingrained in me that I couldn’t go to Rac without having done research. “I dont know” wasn’t acceptable. 3/ Team level up Rac truly showed me what it’s like to be a leader. Everything he did internally was from the lens of “will that upskill our team”. ^He’d put a big focus on us expanding our network and would actively encourage us to meet new people in web3. He’d also encourage us a lot to post content, he knew inbound BD is the best BD. 4/ Clear comms One of my fav phrases of his was: “The expectation here is ….”. Another one would be “if I understand correctly, you are saying….?”. ^ 20% of his comms made 80% of the +EV impact Scrib3 was my first ever web3 job, the only money I had made was from running my own company (agency, then media). I found it awesome to have some1 directly above me to learn from and Rachit certainly delivered. _____ Tag some ppl in leadership positions (or send in your slack), there's some juice in here for sure. If this gets enough traction, I'll bully @rachit into writing an article on how he thinks about leadership🫡
