Watched that new Netflix series Legends at the weekend. It's absolutely fucking brilliant, 100% recommend but what I want to know is WHO IS THIS SCOUSE ACTOR? His name is never bloody listed in anything he's in! And fucking Google insists it's Shaun Dooley, when it clearly isn't!

These book influencers who don't read drive me nuts. How can 8.4K people be this gullible? Dude cannot answer a single question about the content of Monte Cristo. Such a cynical use of great literature. Pretend reading has become a monetizable thing.

@rtenews The government will propose almost anything just to avoid the task of delivering a decent bus service for Cork.

"Hurt So Good" was first a major US hit for Millie Jackson, but it was Susan Cadogan’s more understated take that brought the track to a wider audience. Produced by Lee "Scratch" Perry at his Black Ark Studio, her version entered the charts on this very day in 1975

Burt Lancaster on how he got cast in "The Leopard" (1963) after he rejected it the first time: "I bought 11 copies of ‘The Leopard’ because I thought it was a great novel. I gave it to everyone. But when I was asked to play in it, I said, no, that part’s for a real Italian. But, lo, the wheels of fortune turned. They wanted a Russian, but he was too old. They wanted Laurence Olivier, but he was too busy. When I was suggested, Visconti said, ‘Oh, no! A cowboy!’ But I had just finished ‘Judgment at Nuremberg,’ which he saw, and he needed $3 million which 20th Century-Fox would give them if they used an American star, and so the inevitable occurred. And it turned out to be a wonderful marriage. My best work. But you see, nobody told me not to do it. I was the one who said I couldn’t do it.” (Burt Lancaster's interview with Roger Ebert, 1986)

I’m not a Chocolate fan, but every Easter I keep my tradition of eating a @CadburyUK Cream Egg…. Anyway to put it mildly I took a bite & it didn’t taste the same, then I read “Palm oil”…. Why would Cadbury ruin their brand? Not touching that shit again.
