We're rolling out a small tweak to boost visibility of your posts to your mutuals (people who you follow back). We noticed this data was missing from the algo and it made your friends appear less in your replies. This resulted in the reply section feeling more like a battleground with people you don't recognize. This should also help clusters form around interests more easily, which many people have asked for.

I'm going to just start doing a little public service for my fellow devs, and remind you all to backup Github, every repo, regularly. If you've never done this, and haven't done it in a while, there's a really neat open source tool called ghorg you can use. I am not associated with this tool in any way, I just think it's neat, and it's free. Link to repo in first comment below. And seriously, backup today if you haven't done it in a while, it doesn't take long to do!

a new 🇷🇴 app I haven't officially launched yet is getting new users almost everyday through SEO. I think this indie hacking is finally becoming a bit easier. The past year taught me that taking smaller, diligent steps might pay off better in the long run than launching 100 apps in 100 days. Plus, my local market could have been a gold mine and I've been sitting on it for the past 5 yrs without doing anything 🤦‍♂️
