@HarleyShah @Outcome_Code_18 @prescottcraig @BravoKiloActual some people don’t commit crimes out of necessity. sometimes they’re just antisocial or can’t comprehend risk vs. reward.
English

@Outcome_Code_18 @prescottcraig @BravoKiloActual No I'm just humouring the people who are too stupid to realise that their counter argument is still agreeing with me

I would be more concerned about why people in the world's sixth richest country can't afford cheese
Ben Graham@BenGrahamUK
Security tags on a block of cheese. This is where Britain is now. When basic food needs anti theft devices, it’s not just crime, it’s a collapse in deterrence and standards. A serious country doesn’t tolerate this.

@x0tek @RodeoProfessor this is not soft power this is wasting US taxpayer dollars on a chilean dumbass
English

@RodeoProfessor I mean I get it, but this is another form of soft power
We want the smartest people in the world coming to our nation and being steeped in our culture during the most formative part of their lives

Oh boy. Today I learned we pay $750m a year for a State Department program called “EducationUSA” that operates in 175 countries to recruit foreigners to apply to American universities like Princeton where they then come here, get so much money in scholarships thrown at them that they owe some tax (in this article it’s $15k) which they decide to not pay back! Princeton tried to help the Chilean guy in the article by loaning him money to pay his tax bill but rather than pay it back he just moved to another country and is now whining in the New York Times about it! Enjoy that while you file your taxes this year! Yes this was a spot at Princeton that your kid from Iowa didn’t get.

“Ms. Tully was on an income-based repayment plan, which allows many borrowers to have their remaining debt forgiven after 20 years … She was paying $60 per month when she defaulted. This amount, to many, may seem manageable. But for her, it remained psychologically burdensome”

@oddthingtosay0 @xakuhh @maskedbanditgf @preludetoKaL is exposing yourself on the street artistic if the perpetrator claims to be trans?
English

@flosluteus @xakuhh @maskedbanditgf @preludetoKaL is this the first time you've seen artistic nudity in photography
English

@TheRealJamieKay @audio there may be a grey area between zero immigration and becoming an ethnic minority in your own country in 3 generations
English

@GenericMike5885 @neuroticjewgay they aren’t citizens so they can be deported
English

@neuroticjewgay It's adorable that you think they're actually going to let them go. Embarrassing, even.
English

@oddthingtosay0 @xakuhh @maskedbanditgf @preludetoKaL flashing your genitals to unsuspecting people is actually much closer to sexual assault than it is art
English

@flosluteus @xakuhh @maskedbanditgf @preludetoKaL well, a trans woman being comfortable in her skin in a world that vilifies her for it, is art but that's just the baseline
English

@oddthingtosay0 @xakuhh @maskedbanditgf @preludetoKaL no it isn’t and you didn’t answer the question
English

@flosluteus @xakuhh @maskedbanditgf @preludetoKaL what's artistic in a trans woman's body? the answer is in the question gng
English

@xakuhh @maskedbanditgf @preludetoKaL tell me you've no idea what artistic nudity is without telling me
English

Everyone hating but as predicted the clip went giga viral

@biggerthanlyf @LenaDunhamVEVO @peterktodd @Kokulukiyam so even the richest and most famous guy in the largest city in the country doesn’t need barbed wire?

In South Africa I went on a hike in Cape Town to a beautiful lookout, Signal Hill. At the top there was a wine tasting. I then walked down a trail that goes by a military base, to a rich suburb.
I was very seriously warned by a local, wealthy, brown-skinned man that multiple hikers had been murdered for their wallets and that I should take a taxi home. Sure enough, when I passed by the military base some black men who clearly didn't belong there were watching me from rooftops. So I got out of there as quickly as possible.
At the bottom I continued to walk to my quite nice hotel... and got followed for multiple blocks by a physically aggressive black panhandler who wouldn't take no for an answer.
Following that I went on another hike, up Table Mountain under the gondola. Again, it's a highly developed tourist destination. And again, multiple locals warned me that I really shouldn't go alone because there was a good chance I'd be mugged, or worse. Hell, there's official signs up warning hikers to hike in groups of at least three (four if they're women).
Following that I visited Johannesburg. Or at least, I would have. Except a South African friend of mine who lives near there said I really shouldn't go to the downtown area by myself least I get murdered. So I skipped that and did more hiking. Again with warnings that travelling solo was a bad idea.
...and don't get me started about how that trip, I saw more rolling power outages in peacetime South Africa then I did at my next destination, wartime Kyiv, while Russia was actively trying to destroy the electricity grid.
When I was recently in Kramatorsk, Eastern Ukraine, I had half a day off. So I asked a soldier friend of mine where I could safely walk. He said I could go anywhere safely: military checkpoints would keep me from going too far east. Russians might kill you (just the other day a 13 year old boy was killed by a Russian attack on a market). But even after over a decade of war and poverty the locals won't. And yes, even in Kramatorsk you see young teen girls, by themselves, walking around at night. You do _not_ see that in Cape Town.
The problem with Africa isn't just "underdeveloped parts". The problem is the stupid, violent, black population who make even the developed parts shit.

@HarrisonHSmith @MelonieMac they may be in their personal lives but they tend to vote left

@whoareuwhyareu @AGroyper42 @butleriano how’s that possible if only whites were allowed to immigrate to the US?
English

@AGroyper42 @butleriano Maybe in the 1870s but your type didn't consider Italians white back then so the point is moot
English

@avengemesatin @fjtcpd @butleriano @8675309operator you think these senegalese guys are paying income taxes or sales taxes?
English

@fjtcpd @butleriano @8675309operator Doing that at Walmart doesn’t put money back into the community
English

@lovesshebaa @AidanSimardone they can live in one of the 40 muslim majority countries if it’s that important to them
